No-Drill Mount Compatible With Google Nest Doorbell (battery) - Avoid Drilling and Protect Your Walls

The original back plate is really only suitable to drilling into masonry. I was concerned as I needed the doorbell to be placed on the frame of a uPVC frame, which drilling would not have been a suitable option. This product worked really well giving an adhesive backed mount to attached the original back plate. simple to use and works perfectly.

Great kit if you don't want to drill holes in your door (e.g. rented home). Fits well with the rest of doorbell components, I used included screws to fix the plate to it. Some of the comments mention that screws are short - in my case they were at right length. One thing to mention is that the double sided stick cover was difficult to remove.

I made a mess installing the original fittings that came with the doorbell so searched for an alternative. I was really impressed with this product as it is very well made, easy to attach to my uPVC door surround and simple to add the wedge and mount onto it, plus it hides the mess I made previously!

Still stuck to my doorframe over a year later, so complaints at all.

Simple yet effective drill free mount, installed it on a red brick wall and hasn’t fallen of so far. 2 sets of screws are included for attaching the plate/wedge to the mount incase you’ve miss misplaced/lost the originals (like me) so that’s handy.

Did the job for my Nest battery camera. No drilling required, just good ol' adhesive already included with the product. A bit pricey though.

I bought this item a while back but I have only recently moved and went to use the product but discovered there were no screws in the box to attach the mount to. I contacted the manufacturer and were unable to help beyond telling me to purchase the screws at my local hardware shop (my local hardware shop does not sell the super small screws). Can't use the product.

Total nightmare trying to peel off the film on the sticky strip.. Should maybe come with a pull tab on one end to make it easier

This was an excellent option for mounting to my metal front door. The adhesive backing is very good. It does have direct morning sun and it is not affected at all. Very easy installation with easy to follow instructions.

I read the reviews before buying. A few have said it doesn’t fit the wedge attachment but it does with mine. Make sure you read the instructions carefully, perhaps that’s where people are getting confused. It was an easy installation. Just to be on the safe side, I cleaned the wall the adhesive was going to stick to and after sticking the attachment on, I left it for a whole day without adding the camera on to let the glue cure. Then I finished the camera installation. I’ve had it up for 3 weeks now and it’s held up great. No complaints.
