Stoneworks Laundry Detergent Pods, 50 Count, Oak Tree

I have long looked for a laundry detergent pod that works well, and is and created by a company that is eco-responsible in its manufacturing and packaging. I truly appreciate the company's transparency and environmental commitment, and am very pleased with the Grab Green Stoneworks overall performance. I have used these pods for several years now and would like to share my experience. They dissolve completely in hot, warm, and cold water in an HE washing machine. Only 2-3 times have the pods not fully dissolved, and it was because we overpacked the washing machine. They clean my clothes, towels, dish cloths, bedding, etc, very well - as well as any other brand I have used. I still use a stain spray on really tough spots - such as grease or oil. I have family members with sensitive skin, and this brand did not cause any issues or allergic reactions. In terms of fragrance, I prefer the rose petal for its subtle, light, fresh scent - even my husband likes it - it is not an overly floral fragrance at all (the other scents I have tried are a little too earthy for me - birch, oak tree, olive, etc). The scent will not stay on the clothes long after you take them out of the dryer. While I love the smell of clean laundry, I personally don't want it to stay on my clothes for a long period of time - if it does, it means there are chemical additives in the detergent that stay on your "clean" clothes and against your skin! Also, I feel comfortable using the detergent with a septic tank, given their ingredients and how well they dissolve in water. I also have used the Grab Green Lavender and Vanilla pods - they work really well, too.

Smells so good and cleans my clothes well. What more could you want?

I picked up this laundry "soap" because I'm looking to get rid of the plastic bottle (although I think this has plastic in the bag - I need to call and find out). At any rate, I am allergic to everything. - really really allergic. I bought the one called Rain because it is unscented. (and it really is). I cannot believe how well this performs! It got some stains out that I thought were in there for good! Not even one problem with my skin. The one downside is that the soap does not dissolve always. You have to let the tub fill with water and put the soap in and wait to see if it will dissolve - this is tedious to me. If I don't do that, I wind up with soap clods, wondering if I need to run the load again (wasting water and electricity). So I really hope they clean up the plastic in the bag issue because I like this product! However, it is costing more money than it did when it first came out. Somehow, I think the price has almost doubled since my first order (this is my third order). I will be looking around for something new, as I live on a tiny budget. Otherwise, I give this laundry soap an enthusiastic two thumbs up.

This was a convenient way to try a new laundry product. While the products didn't all meet my expectations, I appreciated being able to sample these pods. They dissolved easily, although you need to be careful not to handle the pods too much before putting in the wash. I liked some of the scents, though not all. Great way to experiment and find the scents you want.

I am highly allergic to scented Tide, Gain, All, and the like and had been using either unscented detergent or Seventh Generation lavender, Ecos, or Kirkland eco detergent for a long time without issue. I have some original Greenworks Gardenia scent that I found once at TJ Maxx and LOOOOVE and was so happy to find other Greenworks scents online to try out. This sampler pack is great for travel or to find another favorite scent. I like the rose (my husband doesn't) and both my husband and I like the more strongly scented Olive Leaf and Oak Tree. We used unscented dryer sheets after washing with each of these, and the Olive Leaf and Oak Tree still had some scent after drying. \ Ultimately I purchased the larger version of Oak Tree because of it's lasting fresh scent for my husband's kitchen clothes. I think I might continue to use regular Greenworks Gardenia for my own clothes because I love it so much (would love to see some matching Gardenia dryer sheets someday), but the Oak tree is definitely my second favorite. They all work really well for cleaning power. I use a standard cheap tub washer and throw the pod in before the clothes. When we used to go to the laundromat, I'd throw the pod in with the clothes instead of the detergent compartment. Pods always dissolved fine for me, YMMV. Rain doesn't hardly have any scent. Birch branch isn't bad; just has a little earthy patchouli scent but it's not very strong- I don't think they had hardly any scent after drying. Rose seemed like it would last but didn't have much smell after the dryer (granted I didn't buy any rose dryer sheets so not sure if that'd make a difference). Olive Leaf and Oak Tree smell a little like a unisex/mens scent and are the strongest/most lasting.

I really loved this detergent for its ability to clean and the lovely rose scent. As others have mentioned, the pods didn't break down so I just opened and emptied them - not a biggie. They seem to have changed the outer pod casing, and it's much softer now, which is good, I suppose (we have hard water so I'll keep opening them). The bummer came when I broke open one from the most recent shipment. Not only is the pod softer, but the rose scent is now a slightly cloying, unnatural floral odor. I'm not excited, as we'd started using these products to escape the artificial perfume smells of most detergents. I guess we'll be cancelling our auto-ship and looking for something else.

This used to be my favorite laundry detergent. You can tell by the pictures that I’ve attached that although these are supposed to be pods, they’ve been coming in as powdered detergent. Very expensive powdered detergent. Save your money.

Really love using these and skipping the softening agent. They clean well and have a nice scent. Doesn’t really smell after dryer but love the clean I haven’t had broken pods recently like I use to get So that’s nice
