It's actually a great deal
I will admit that my expectations were low. I had looked at about 16 fish stores all around the Houston area. I did end up buying 6 shrimp, 3 blue and 3 cherry. They cost me $8 each. I had 3 die within 3 days So, shrimp off of Amazon? I figured that they would be pale, sickly or tiny.But... Even with shipping, they arrived healthy. Even vigorous. They colors were slightly subdued for the first day and I had a large one for on day 2 but it was the largest so it might well have been old and the stress is the mail service might have just been too much. But, the seller includes an extra to cover loss, just in case. All the others are bright, lively and add so much color and life to my planted tank that I am seriously considering buying more I want to see if these breed before I get more as I didn't want to over crowd my tank as I already had a few and I have a few fish. But, are they healthy? Yes. Are they a great deal? Absolutely! Cheaper than a fish store and way more variety.

Good deal
Received variety of color shrimp in a breather bag with the box being full of insulation and clear labeling of live fish on the outside. My mail carier was nice enough to keep them at the post office and leave a note so they didnt sit outside, I opened the box in a dim room and let the bag warm to room temperature then started a slow drip acclimation in a separate container. Took about 4 hrs but I'm glad I was patient because they are all still alive after adding them to the aquarium. I could only find 9 out of 12 and some pieces of red guessing they died early on and were either eaten or dissolved because they bag water smelled horrible. I did add seachem prime immediately after putting them in a container to de-toxify any ammonia from the deceased, I also noticed eggs had been dropped from the stress which is unfortunate. The seller didn't hesitate to give me a partial refund. I also found out to late that if you get multiple colors and they cross breed they will most likely turn out to be brown. I didn't realize this as I am a new shrimp keeper. Overall great price, healthy shrimp, nice colors and variety of male and female, would order again. I do reccomend springing for 2 day shipping to give them a better chance, this is what I did and I still lost some.

Happy With Purchase
First and foremost while delivery to my area did take a little bit (about 5 days) all the shrimp arrived alive and healthy (albeit stressed which is understandable.) I was happy with the colors as I got a few reds, a couple yellow/oranges, blue, brownish etc.Shrimp were very lively in the container and it was packaged relatively well. There's was a little room for the bag to move but it didn't seem to impact my Shrimp.I received a total of 10 Shrimp and after providing ample time to acclimate to my water parameters the Shrimp happily found their favorite spots in my tank. The price for this is outstanding considering in my area each of these Shrimp run for $6.Would recommend!

Shipped fast, well protected, many colors.
My order arrived quickly and the shrimp were about as happy as could be expected after a traumatic journey. I ordered 10, received 12 and sadly one passed in transit giving me 11 new shrimp friends for my tank! The shrimp were double bagged and wrapped in a dampening layer to keep them as comfy as they could hope for. Also a heat pack was included which kept them alive when an unexpected cold snap happened while they made their way here. There are at least five different colors here and they are so fun to watch in a tank. I would recommend this seller.

Important Alert: Risk of Parasitic Algae in Shrimp
I’m writing this review to inform potential buyers of a significant issue I encountered with shrimp purchased from this seller. The shrimp I received were infected with Cladogonium ogishimae, a highly infectious parasitic algae. This situation is particularly concerning because: 1. Long Dormancy: This parasite can lay dormant in shrimp for months, making it difficult to detect immediately upon arrival. 2. Risk of Cross-Contamination: Even if the shrimp you purchase do not show visible signs of infection, they could have been in contact with other infected shrimp. This raises the possibility of a latent infestation that might manifest later. 3. Buyer Vigilance: If you decide to buy, I strongly advise conducting a thorough inspection of the shrimp for any signs of the parasite. Keep in mind that the infection may not be immediately apparent. 4. Consider the Implications: Understand the risks associated with this parasitic algae. It can affect the quality and safety of the shrimp, which is a concern for any intended use. 5. Seek Alternatives: Based on my experience, you may want to consider looking for other sellers or sources for shrimp, to ensure you receive a product that meets your quality and safety standards. My experience with this product was disappointing and concerning, especially given the potential health risks associated with such an infestation. I hope this review helps others make informed purchasing decisions and highlights the need for vigilance when buying such products.

Lots of different colors, happy with the purchase
Good price for decent looking shrimp. 5-6 of them are very beautiful, some have clear imperfections but I do not mind. I assume some of these are what's been culled from multiple breeding colonies. They arrived a bit late but the shrimp were active and very well packaged. They look great in their new planted aquarium. On the first day we lost one even though I drip acclimated them for over 2 hours. It was expected. It was nice of the seller to send approximately equal numbers of females and males, I am very excited to see what kinds of colors will come out as they start breeding. I may consider separating them between multiple nano tanks of they start breeding.

So cute!!
The media could not be loaded. They are so lively and I was so worried about them coming in the mail because it's cold outside but they made it and not one single dead one! And they look nice and healthy. Sorry about the fish in the face lol it's feeding time, which means they have to be all up in my face lol over all great shrimp! Thank you!
