My 60 lbs boxer triggers it when he trots by, I wouldn't let it arm in "away" mode if your dogs run the house

Q: Does this sensor detect motion through glass windows? I assume no, but want to make sure before I invest and install it in a mostly glass walled room.

You should never aim a motion at glass. They may give you false readings.

Q: Has anyone installed this in a Patio or open garage with an over head ceiling?
