Do these "dots" come with adhesive? Mine did not.

The thin dots do not come with adhesive.

Is there a way to clean off the adhesive side of the isolation dots or do you offer a version without adhesive?

There is no adhesive on these dots, all rubber.

Do they stick under the speakers or can they be placed directly on top of the speaker stand?

They will work either way, but I chose to stick them to the 4 corners of the stand's top plate. This allow me to slightly adjust the speaker on the plate.

Would these work well for small bookshelf speakers under 5lbs each?

yes they will work. I use them on small 5 x 8 in book shelf speakers. But if the speakers are not on a wall or shelf near your turntable they may not be needed. I use the Hudson HI FI one inch (1") isolation feet for my larger floor speakers. I use the largest isolation feet (2" i think) for the turntable which is hung on a separate wall shelf. This eliminates any movement when I walk near the Turntable. I live in an old house, wood floors so they really help.
