bought this HP Victus mainly for gaming and work, and so far the experience has been excellent. The mica silver design looks elegant, sleek, and well finished nothing over the top like some other gaming laptops. In terms of performance, the Intel Core i5-12450H processor along with 8GB of RAM does a great job: programs load quickly and I can work with multiple tabs open without issues. For gaming, the NVIDIA GTX 1650 graphics card still delivers solid performance in popular titles like Fortnite, Valorant, and even some more demanding games on medium/high settings. The 512GB SSD is fast and provides plenty of space for several games and applications without running out of storage right away. The 15.6” Full HD screen has good colors and adequate brightness, perfect for both gaming and watching movies or shows. I also appreciate the cooling system: while it does get a little warm during long sessions, it’s not uncomfortable, and the fan noise is reasonable. The best part is how well-balanced it feels between price and quality: it’s not the most powerful gaming laptop out there, but for the price it delivers more than expected. Ideal for anyone looking for a reliable laptop with solid gaming performance that can also handle work or study.

I just got it today in the mail and I’ve barely used it but so far super good, I was just playing Roblox and the graphics were all the way up on this SCP Roleplay game which is very graphic and is realistic and it took a little longer to load but there was NO LAG!!! It’s also very easy to setup and the quality is very nice. I love the weight of it too! It’s very light and easy to take somewhere and fits in my backpack. I haven’t checked out the battery life yet but it does seem like it’s pretty good, the overall performance of this laptop is very impressive for the price, if your a first time gamer or just a casual gamer trying to not go over budget, GET THIS LAPTOP!!!

Excellent laptop for the money! Gaming is very smooth and graphics are decent. Very fast CPU. You can’t beat the price for what you get!

Its an amazing laptop. It works well and barely lags i can play vrchat on it and it only slows down if someone has a big avatar. Its heavy and I love it. Its not some piece of plastic. The battery life is not my area to say since I keep all of my electronics on the charger so yeah. Plus I suggest that anyway. The screen is a nice and not really reflective and its easy on the eyes. And its worth its value. Lastly if the keyboard doesn't light up just click the FN button and the F3 and it should come back on.

This unit is great. I don't have much to add to other reviews. But I can confirm that this model is easily upgradable to 64gig of memory. I used a gskill ripsaw kit at 1.2v. Its only seven small screws and a little bit of gentle manipulation to remove the back.

My son recommended this one to me, he was not wrong. I absolutely love this laptop so far. Not had it very but highly recommend it so far. Worth the price.

Within two months of purchase the battery became faulty and no longer kept a charge. I contacted the vendor who advised me to contact HP. HP claimed that my warranty had expired and when I disputed it they informed me that this vendor is not an 'authorized HP vendor' and that the 1 year warranty was not applicable. When I contacted the vendor they refused to replace the laptop, battery, or reimburse for HP to repair the laptop because they are a 'third party vendor'. I had expected to have access to the 1 year warranty at purchase but this was NOT the case. Buyer beware.
