Shimano Deore XT PD-M8000 Pedal 20 x 8 x 4 cm Silver

I really enjoy using the XT PD-M8000 on my cyclocross bike. I haven't used a lot of other spd pedals but this pedal gets the job done.This is a very good pedal for cyclocross in my opinion. They are robust and easy to clean. They are adjustable so you can get the right amount of tension depending on how quickly you are going to want to unclip. If you plan on staying on the pedals for a gravel grinder you could tighten them up. If you're planning to dismount a lot, reduce the tension.If one is very concerned about weight, they may want to go with another higher end option.

Nice to go back to after so many years fumbling with Eggbeaters. I was losing so much time on the remounts as my pedals just weren't working any more. After putting these on mid-season, i felt that positive click that brought me back to the 737 pedals of the 1990s. Two muddy CX races later, these haven't skipped a beat. They click and and out perfectly even when jammed with mud.

I received these pedals today and installed them on my fat bike immediately. They were adjusted perfectly. They clicked in and out with no problem. They are very compact compared to early SPD pedals. I knocked around with several different kinds of SPD and road bike pedals. Most of these pedals were on sale, discount or clearance merchandise. It's nice to have Shimano quality. These however are marked made in Malaysia. I was pleased to find Shimano SH51 shoe clips in the box. I'll update with anything of interest in the future.

Like these very much - I have a very nice road bike & yet I was shown by a bike store that these can be used on a road bike although primarily meant for a mountain bike... with the primary advantage being that the slim shoes can be walked on more easier (off the bike). Not a necessarily huge advantage for indoors, but if you are stranded outside and need to walk a great distance, maybe so. You will need to make an adjustment with a allentool wrench (type), but not so difficult.

I bought (these) my first pair of clipless pedals based on a friends recommendation. I have them on my road bike because its easier to walk in MTB shoes instead of the toad shoes. They feel little heavy but like everything in life its a trade off. Very easy to clip in and out of.

Love these pedals. Work great. Nice solid click in and click out. Even packed with mud or snow they do well. I’ve had a little trouble with wet snow because it gets packed in there tight and the clip might only clip in halfway, but you can just grab a stick and dig it out and you’re good to go. Hardly a big enough deal to mention, let alone be a decider whether to buy these. Overall excellent.

I have these pedals on all of my bikes. I love them! Remember to use anti-seize on the threads. And don't tighten them too tight. I take them off once a year to add grease and make sure they don't seize.

The first set I purchasing in mid January, broke with in a couple of weeks of uses which I return for an identical set that just broke in the fashion, the pedal platform broke loose from the steam while riding both times. There is clearly a problem but now they tell me that return window has closed. Ridiculous for a product from Shimano, particularly since the Shimano XT Pedals I replaced them with I have been useing for more than 20 years and are now back on my bike once again.

Great pedals. reliable, well built, a better choice and good step up from the XTRs

Arrived quickly didn't have to adjust them when I put them on my mountain bike nice solid pedals..

Die Deore XT sind bestimmt aktuell eine der besten Klickpedalen auf dem Markt. Leider schient sich bei Shimano die Erkenntnis, dass es Menschen mit großen Füßen gibt noch nicht durchgesetzt zu haben. Gebe es die Deore XT mit unterschiedlichen Q-Werten, wären sie sicher aktuell der Goldstandard. So müssen Menschen mit Schuhgröße über 44 entweder auf Pedalverlängerungen ausweichen oder ein verdrehtes Knie in Kauf nehmen. Leider passt der zum Befestigen und (wahrscheinlich irgendwann problematischer) Lösen erforderliche Sechskant nicht durch die Pedalverlängerung, eine Nummer kleiner würde schon reichen.Trotzdem ist der Halt in den Deore XT etwas ganz anderes als in den 511 von SQ-Lab. Alles Gute ist offensichtlich nie beisammen.

Lo esperado... Calidad en un producto que es apuesta segura. Siempre he utilizado pedales Shimano, al final voy cambiando pedales y x no cambiar calas siempre optó x Shimano. Este modelo es más ligero que los que he tenido en el pasado y su funcionamiento es cómodo rápido y preciso. Los volvería a comprar
