God of War Ragnarök (PS4)

God of War Ragnarök is a stunning achievement in gaming, taking the already incredible gameplay and storytelling of the previous game to new heights. I played this on a PS4, there are a few bugs in the game (I can see why the developers wanted a bit more time with it) but nothing that takes away from the experience of playing the game. The game is ha high precision game that runs well on a PS4 but is a bit difficult to play with remote play (delays that are fractions of a second are noticeable and make it almost unplayable in some God Hard battles). All in all I played the game on the first go on God Hard and it took me 150 hours to complete (100% completion on main story and side missions), and it was 150 hours well spent; the fighting system has been completely reinvented since the last game and the main + side storylines are phenomenal (it is at the book level of stories). A lot of thought has been put into every aspect of this game, from the armor to the weapon attachments and the collectibles, nothing is tacked on, everything offers a tremendous amount of value and intrigue (even the treasure hunts and freeing of Odin's ravens) and everything needs a bit of tweaking to compliment your playing style and preferences.

Been a fan of these games for the whole franchise and played them all. Really enjoying this instalment. Delivery was quick and finally got it for less than £40. Been waiting a while for the price to drop but just shows how popular it is. Story is good. Gameplay is also fun (lots of mashing buttons during fights). Plenty of collectibles and side missions (favours) to do. I'm a huge open world fan and really wish this game was a bit more open world, but the map is big and the story and your skill level dictates where you can go and what you can do. But it's still highly enjoyable. If you're a 'completionist' there's plenty to do and areas you have to return to in order to collect everything once you have correct tools etc, which can be fun and frustrating in equal measure lol.

This is a really great game to get! The storyline is really captivating between the two main characters (If you haven't played the god of war before god of war ragnarok I recommend to play that one before you get this one as the storyline continues) This game is so beautifully designed & illustrated! I also love that you get to play different characters rather than just one & that you get to build up the different characters strengths & abilities the only irrelevant moan is that this is the last god of war game.....but if you decide that you want to jump straight into this god of war ragnarok game it comes highly recommended such a great game to get so if you are wondering to get it or not....then I say get it

This game is a perfect follow-up to its predecessor. It builds upon the strengths of the first game and improves upon its weaknesses, resulting in a truly excellent gaming experience. The story in this game was excellent. I was initially concerned that certain plot decisions may not have been well-conceived, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well-developed the story turned out to be. The combat in this game was fantastic, much like the first, and some of the annoying elements from the previous game were either removed or significantly improved. While the NPC dialogue can sometimes be a bit grating, overall this is a fantastic game that is well worth the price.

I read all the fantastic views so decided to buy. THE BAD: There are a lot of weapon changes and different button moves to learn for the fighting aspect. Index fingers ache a bit (You're going to lose if you try to just mash X!) I also got a bit sick of the same constant puzzles to move forward in every level. World is a bit empty. THE GOOD: Graphics, story and characters are amazing. Some really well done, strong bosses. Game is surprisingly long.

Bought as a gift. Nephew delighted.

One of the best game of Playstation, All GOW games are Elite in story, but this is is elite in world building too, just loved to play, Received original CD and genuine game, waited 3 years for a good deal, and purchased it for 1599rs
