HDPE is a food grade, non stick plastic in which can withstand any and all chemicals used in soap making and are made to last a lifetime. Our HDPE Soap Molds are rated at 180 degrees Fahrenheit continuous. Each Mold Inside Measurements - 15"L X 3.625"W X 2.25"T Each mold will typically hold 4 - 5 lbs. of soap depending on process and recipe used Side and end panels are made from .5" Thick HDPE These molds are fully collapsible Molds will be shipped un-assembled Included in this set - 1 - Single Slot Soap Cutter, 1 Flat Cutting Blade and all of the necessary hardware to assemble your molds Single Slot Soap Cutter consists of and adjustable end in which you can adjust your bar thickness from 2" down to 1/2". The Single Slot Soap Cutter can also be used as a mold when lined properly. Please allow me to clear up any issues or beliefs about lining HDPE Soap Molds. Many people use Serran Wrap to line their molds. HDPE is Serran Wrap, very thick serran wrap. When using CP and being able to allow up to 2 weeks for the soap to cure there is no need to use a liner. For MP or HP and quick removal around 12 hours (or until soap is strong enough to hold) itself we recommend using a slip in which we will provide a video of with your purchase. Liners are difficult, take a long time and can cause alot of frustration. A slip is none of these, takes about 10 seconds and is the absolute best way to make your soap. The issue with soap making (non wood molds) is not that the soap sticks, its that whenever you mold something it creates a vacuum lock, similar to a wet glass stuck to the top of a glass table. So why buy HDPE over Silicone? Quality and durability. Silicone will tear and break down and you will have to replace it constantly. These will not break down over time..
