Bebeto Watermelon Jelly Gum 70g

These Bebeto Watermelon sweets are a fantastic mouth-watering delight. They're sweet (they're basically nine-tenths sugar) whilst at the same time - extremely tarty and sour as they contain seven-and-a-half per cent apple juice as well as citric acid, tartaric acid, malic acid. Don't worry about the word "acid" as these all are present naturally in certain foods. The "Watermelon" however made me laugh as it is only 0.01 per cent of the ingredients, so less than a gram in each packet! Regardless though these are wonderfully tasty and mouth-watering sweets. Contrary to what one reviewer said, the packet I received although had a UK address on it, the sweets were made in Turkey.

I just love them. I mean, the texture, soft but not too chewy, the melon flavour is irresistible. Look, let's not kid ourselves. Sweets are bad for us, no matter how they're dressed or sold. But these are too delicious, (which is why I bought the box), so be careful. Everything in moderation, right?

Only ordered these to top my basket to get free delivery - but I was really surprised by these! They're actually really, really, nice! Not too sweet (unlike most gummy sweets), only < 254 calories for the whole bag, fat free, and made in Britain (so you know they haven't airfreighted or shipped halfway around the world!). ATM - only 50p - so what's not to love? Will DEFINITELY buy again!

These were a pleasant surprise. The watermelon flavour is sweet, fruity, and comes through much more strongly than I expected. The jelly texture is soft and chewy without being too sticky, making them easy to snack on. They're the sort of sweets that disappear quickly once the bag is opened. The only downside is the bag size. At 70g, it doesn't take long to finish, especially if you're sharing. If you enjoy watermelon-flavoured sweets, these are definitely worth trying. A tasty little treat that I'd happily buy again.

Good value tasty sweets

The BEBETO sour gummies turned out to be a sticky disappointment. Despite the promise of a tangy treat, the excessive stickiness made them more of a hassle than a joy to eat. The gummies clung to each other and surfaces, creating a messy and unpleasant experience. While the sour flavor was decent, the unwarranted stickiness overshadowed any enjoyment, making these gummies far from a convenient or satisfying snack choice.

I only had these for the first time recently, and I love them. The watermelon flavour is very realistic, and the sweets themselves are soft, unlike a lot of jelly sweets. The small bags are the perfect portion size.
