So far so good
This is my first resin printer and second Anycubic printer and so far I'm impressed. There is very little assembly needed right out of the box and setting it up to be able to print is easy and took maybe 30 mins with me being overly cautious. The print size is great but this does mean its foot print in your printer area is massive. The slicing software is good but you have to remember to tell it to add supports every time you slice a model instead of just having it as default. The auto feed function is also nice and seems necessary given the print volume, just make sure to check that it is on before every print. I would highly recommend getting the air purifiers, while they don't get all the resin smell they greatly reduce it. Honestly as long as it holds up for awhile I think Anycubic have hit the mark with this printer and I'm impressed.

Extremely unimpressed
I purchased this to print large boxes custom housings that kind of thing that would normally require a vertical positioning on my current large scale SLA printer I thought with the resin filling system this would be an excellent replacement allowing for much faster build times. I was wrong well yes it will cure a layer in three to four seconds because of how shallow the that is and the lack of fluid pressure at that depth the resin doesn't feel back into the voids quickly enough so you have to set a three to eight second delay depending on your resin essentially making it far slower than a traditional deeper vat printer I understand why it was done because the that will take an entire leader of resin if it were any deeper that haven't been said I still am not happy with it. A print should not fail at the hundredth layer with an auto refill on the vat and resin in the tank. Additionally literally everything has to be offset from the build plate with this you cannot use it as a flat surface for any of your parts because they will crack. Even with flexible resins I had this issue the adhesion from that build plate is so great that removal is all but impossible without lifting the part with supports. I wasted nearly $300 in resin trying to make this work. I will be getting my money back because I'm sending this stupid printer back. I'm going back to orienting my boxes vertically and buying a second midsize printer to offset the time. Unless you are building a gigantic model and have 3 days to wait for the print because of the delay between layers this is a waste of money. Additionally the resin refill system doesn't communicate with the printer in any way really it does not stop the print if the resin bottle goes empty. It also locks you into only two brands of resin. *** this is also the biggest mess to work with of any printer I own*** plus the FEP failed and the Vat leaked on the first print.

Great printer!!!!!
No playing with settings. Just turned it on poured in the resin, and boom. Success on the first print. Only ...... Extra thing I did was put a heater in it.

Colossal Printing for a Price
There is a lot to love with this printer, but a lot of buyer/user beware moments. I have owned this printer for just under two months now and I'll do my best to give an unbiased pros/cons and if I ever get around to it, maybe I'll add pictures. Pros: - Huge build plate, I print larger models and this is absolutely wonderful - Print quality is good, even for fine detail - Auto feed for resin - Simple interface - Print times are acceptable - Can really load down this plate with prints Cons: - Lackluster customer support - Expensive to repair, mine has broken multiple times (LCD, auto feed, case arrived damaged) - As a sub note to this, they won't replace anything so, have fun with that - I punctured my FEP a couple times and you have to order replacement sheets from Anycubic, in China, which is fine, but shipping costs are painful. - Can be messy - Massive body - Extra bottle for auto feed is in awkward spot - Smelly, do not run in an unventilated room Functionally, the printer is cool. I really like this printer, even if it can be a bit of a bear to fine-tune. What I don't like, is that its over $1,000 and if something breaks on it, customer service will A: not do anything about it and B: it takes a solid week or longer of back and forth emailing to ultimately arrive at the "tough luck" conclusion. Funny enough, when my auto-feed just stopped working, they stopped emailing me and that was that. I have this, a Photon Ultra D2 and a Prusa i3 MKS3+, so I have other things to compare this machine to. I am a little new to 3D printing, but I can confidently tell you, the issues I'm having are less me and more Anycubic. I would recommend this printer if you aren't a beginner and can fix this stuff yourself, don't ever need to contact the company and you're cool with shelling out more money to fix what breaks. I know that for myself, I will not buy another Anycubic printer, even though they're great printers. I just don't want to get burned by the after-sale experience again.

Issue on arrival but Anycubic customer service corrected it
Recieved in july and did a like 3 prints which failed, assumed it was the file until now that i got told to check screen and although not clear on photo. Anycubic sent out a replacement screen, which I highly appreciate. Good customer service, I always order directly from them because they are quick to resolve any problems.

Bad quality and csutomer service
Will give 4 stars, see retraction at bottom of review. Purchased item back in Oct of 2023, now 10 months later the LCD Screen has gone out. I contacted Anycubic their reply was "According to your photos, the LCD screen needs to be replaced to solve the problem. Amazon Customer Service has found that your LCD screen has passed the warranty period. So they are telling me the most important part of a $1,000 printer is only warrantied for 3 months? I have only been able to make a few test prints to get the exposure correct. Seems the most important part of the printer is also the worst part and will now cost about $200 with shipping. Worst of all I did my research, and this was the most highly recommended resin 3D printer on market. Attached are two pics of issue I am facing. Retracting above, Anycubic did contact me back and will be sending out a replacement LCD screen.

The Good and the Bad
Update: In a nutshell, I've now owned 3 of these. All of them have went bad in just months of use. You may want to consider going with a different printer. This is my second M3 Max. I like the print volume and auto feed. My first printer makes very good prints. My only complaint was that the print time compensation is defaulted to ON, which makes print times very very long if you forget to turn it off. On the other hand, my second M3 Max was never able to make a good part. Using the exact same settings as my first M3 Max didn't work, nor did altering the print settings. Every part had delamination issues. There was no debris in the resin, no lose components, nothing physically wrong with the printer. Also, the surface finish wasn't as good as my other M3 Max. Base upon my experience, and the reviews of others, there seems to be quality control issues. You would be wise to hang on to all of the shipping and packaging material until you know if your printer works well. There are some design flaws as well. The resin tray is too shallow and prone to overflowing if the feed pump pumps too much or the printer isn't perfectly level. It will ruin the front touch screen and make the USB port only work intermittently.
