I have been using carpenter’s pencils for a long time and as they get used they end up being too short for the pocket in my work trousers and difficult to get out when needed. I looked for an alternative and these pencils are perfect. I use them without sharpening to a fine point as I have found I can get accurate markings for my projects with the slightly worn tip. I have only had the pencils for a short time using them every day for my work and can see the refills will be lasting me for years by the very low wear rate during use. I would highly reccomend these pencils in place of carpenter’s pencils.

These are fine well priced carpenters pencils that very surprisingly upon arriving with a good number of refills I had bought alongside not one off the refills was snapped, shattered, etc, they we're in the well designed cases in the photo, They're not overly chunky to hold too. Great pencils.

As a carpenter we’re always dropping our pencil which causes the lead to break but these pencils are robust and can take knocks .

I have never used this type of pencil in the shop but they look like a great idea.Initial impressions of this one is pretty tough and operates well and as expected. The on board sharpener is a must! So far so good.

For the last two years I've always had either a pica or hultafors pencil on my tool belt (full time contractor) and I love them both but they are expensive and they both break quickly. I prefer the Hultafors, but I just didn't want to keep paying for pencils where the internal mechanisims or the sharperner breaks in 2-3 months. I thought I'd give these a try as they are less than half price and if they last as long then its great. I'm a week in to using these pencils and they're great, work great, like the sharpener location (better location than the pica, less good than the hultafors) and the leads they come with are good. I can also swap the leads from these into a hultafors or pica and vice versa. I'll be updating this post in a few months or whenever both pencils die so that I can let people know about durabillity.

All good but wish the sharpener kept his sharp like a new one

I have been a woodworker for over 50 years and I wished I could have discovered this product many years ago
