This is a really plain light with no frills in appearance, but makes for one great light. I installed one in my kitchen since my kitchen is pretty compact, and it works for the most part. Since the light is close to the ceiling, it's probably best suited for hallways since a lot of the light shoots straight down. It would illuminate rooms better if it could bounce off walls, since the range of angle isn't all that great. Remote works well. The best part is the ease of changing the light setting. Sometimes I like the bright white, sometimes I like the daytime, and it's a simple click of a button. I love the night setting as it provides just enough light without making my eyes hurt. Also great to use in the morning after waking up while my eyes are still getting adjusted to the light. Installation was pretty simple if you have an idea of what you're doing. I'm a business analyst, but i was still able to shut off the breaker and pretty much connect 3 wires and hook it up. Very happy with purchase overall and would buy any of my other lights burn out.

LET THE *SON* SHINE IN - 15.4" - 5 STARS (but you should know something first) - beautiful and much briter than expected (lights up dim light area over kitchen range) - super affordable and well-written install instructions / comes with wire twists / everything needed to install - the install wire clip while installing the light is a stroke of genius - super versatile with advanced remote with tons of options that actually work (line of sight 20ft) - night light with one button provides CONSTANT affordable light for dim hallways (leave this on in hallways on gold hue) - can reset the daylight hue with gold hue with one click of the light switch - utilitarian handsome lights both on and off / ring illuminates as BLACK ring when lit, attractive for all but the most formal rooms - the ceiling upcast light makes these lights really stand out and give a mild comforting ambience on the ceiling CAVEATS: 1. vendor cheaped out on very thin 16g wire 2. the center hold is barely over 2" round - very hard to get 12g wire back up inside the in-celing wire box. 3. NOT EASY to install because of caveat #2. 4. HIGHLY RECOMMEND stripping off another 3/4" wire from the *very thin* wire connectors to be able to get a good/safe grip onto your house wires (only do this if you know how to use a wire stripper on 16g stripper) 5. as mentioned - vendor cheaped out on the wire and only gave a 1/4" lead to twist onto a much thicker house wire

Installation was easy and the lamp allows me to easily change light temperature over the day while I'm working at home. My only complain is that some times when I turn the lamp on, it has a low sound like plastic cranking, I thought it could be because it was overheating, but I touched the lamp and it wasn't heat. That last for some minutes and then stops, but I'm not sure that could be considered normal. Even that little issue, I'm overall satisfied.

Installed two in our “bonus room” and what’s really nice is the remote controls two if you want, or can just do one at a time if you want to bring the other remote in to things. Several different settings for different vibes but we especially like the warm white low setting. They are plasticky and not exactly high end looking but they’re great for our bonus room esthetic which is very casual. They’re functional and super easy to install. Would buy again.

I did not think this light was going to be as bright as it is. Fantastic product, especially for the price. Installed in under 10 minutes. Also looks a lot better than the pictures show. Highly recommended.

Easy to install if you have basic skills. The color is pretty white even on 3000K, but it’s pleasing enough. The higher values are shockingly bright, but that corner was always so dark, now any light seems bright. As far as brightness goes, it’s very bright and highly adjustable with the remote. You have a 50% button, a 100% button and a 10% button. Pretty happy with it. The pic shows 50% power.
