Bought this for my 56 year old sister with arthritis. She's had it 2 days and can't do without it.

Absolutely love the concept however right off the bat this was nearly impossible to slide open and get the batteries in. I'm 47 years old had to wait for my husband to come home and he had to pry it open since it wasn't working according to the directions. They can opener itself is finicky- it does not like smaller cans such as tuna fish. It is slow it usually took two or three spins around the can before it was fully open. Sometimes it still wasn't fully open and I would have to pop it back on for another spin. Also don't like that the can was completely cut off; sometimes I prefer having it still attached for certain things. So in concept good- but this model seemed to be very cheap and difficult to deal with. perhaps in the future I'll try a different brand, but this was sent back for a refund!

This products works ok to open the can and the lid comes off the can fine. I can not remove the lid from the opener so I can open another can. It’s like it gets stuck and I have to bend the lid to remove it from the can opener. It’s unusable the way it is and I’ve read and reread the directions and nothing about removing the lid from the can opener.

Cleanly removes the top of cans. A bit bulky but worked well!

I do not have as much strength in my hands as I used to, and this gadget works great. It opens cans, and it opens 2-liter bottles as well as jars. I would not be without one.

The first one I got had part come loose in battery compartment and customer service had another in the mail right away. As soon as I received the replacement, I put 4 AA batteries in and watched in fascination as it opened the first can. I had to see it open another. I love it and I sure hope it lasts because it's so much fun to watch and is very useful.

Update: stopped working; contacted seller and requested a replacement. Response just said “ok”. Did not receive replacement or any other communication.I use this can opener several times per week, and love it. Just set it, punch the button, and let it do the work. I make lasagna weekly and 4-6 cans have to be opened; it’s a real time saver plus no cranking involved!

Mostly happy with it. Have had a few vegetable cans it wouldn’t work in, even so, I think it’s helpful and would be very helpful for someone with problems with their hands.
