I decided to start Yoga at home during lockdown and treat myself to a new mat .I am extremely happy with my Gymbella Mat and would definitely recommend.I love that its eco-friendly , high quality and it’s so beautiful that it helps me feel centred and calm throughout my practice.It’s also comfortable on my knees, has good grip and it doesn’t move around on my wooden floor, there’s no slipping or sliding.I also love that it comes with a gorgeous carry bag so that I can protect my mat when I travel back to my local studio , well , when it reopens!

Absolutely Gorgeous ! Well Done Gymbella for creating such a gorgeous Yoga Mat ! It ticks all the boxes for me. Great grip, extra wide and has a nice thickness to support my knees and joints. Really thoughtful to include a carry bag and towel with the Mat. I love that Gymbella haven’t used any plastic in their packaging, you can tell this company really cares about the materials they use and the planet. That’s one of the reasons I bought this yoga mat as its eco friendly and my purchase has planted a Tree , I really like knowing that.

It took me a while to decide on which yoga mat to purchase after falling back in love with yoga during the coronavirus lockdown. I am so SO happy I decided to purchase a Gymbella yoga mat.From receiving it in its presicous packaging, to the beautiful hemp bag its encased in. Everything about this mat screams quality. The mat itself is a great size - I am quite tall 5 ft 11 and i love the length and width. The mat is non slip and is give you alot of cushioning. I have been practicing on an old sports direct mat and moving from that to the gymbella was like a dream. I am in love with this yoga mat and look forward to every yoga session.However the best thing of all is that its environmentall friendly and you get a tree planted when you purchase!!! <3

Absolutely love this yoga mat. It’s really beautiful and definitely feels luxurious to use and with perfect cushioning (I’ve always struggled with my knees in a frog with other mats but not a problem at all with this one!) The carry bag is a big plus for me as it allows the mat to be stored without worry about it getting damaged / dirty and this one is again beautiful. This mat really makes yoga about the whole experience for me and makes it feel very special. I would 100% recommend this mat to anyone. Add to that the ethos of the company and I am totally in love with what they do. Biodegradable and recyclable and also 1 tree planted for every mat sold. For me it’s very important to look after our planet and try to live in harmony with the world around us. Gymbella’s ethos is completely in sync with this and the product is an absolute luxury so you can spoil yourself whilst knowing that you are doing some good in the world. Absolutely love this company - keep the trees being planted! :)

I’m absolutely in love with this mat! Not only it’s got a beautiful, smart design (I couldn’t find a better one here on Amazon), but also is much bigger than the usual ones, which really helps with vinyasa because you don’t need to worry about stepping off the mat! It also comes with a beautiful bag and a little towel. The product is light as a feather, which makes it perfect for travelling (I’m definitely going everywhere with mine). But what ultimately made me buy this mat was the fact that it’s ENTIRELY eco-friendly and biodegradable, which is still quite rare. But don’t worry - the fact that’s it’s made of biodegradable products doesn’t mean that it’s bad quality - it’s very durable and easy to wash. I’ve had it for a while now and I’m still so in love with it! Definitely going to buy more soon ❤️

Beautiful mat. I’ve never owned a mat, this is my first and I am enjoying it so far. I love that you get a lovely towel and a carrying bag for the mat. Not heavy at all if you have to carry it around, meaning no excess uncomfortable weight on one side of the body. If you plan on keeping the box, I’d definitely recommend wiping it down as it was quite dirty. The only issue I have had with it is the top and bottom of the mat curling under when laid flat on the floor. I understand it’s because it’s rolled, hopefully it’ll flatten as I use it. Lovely design imprinted on the mat. Enjoyable to not only use but to look at too. I’ve yet to try it on hard floor, on carpet however it’s fine. Certain exercises (e.g plank taps etc) I’d recommend being half on/half off as the mat slides slightly. I’ve no complaints anyways.

I treated myself to a new yoga mat for my birthday, I wanted a decent one as I'm going to be starting yoga teacher training soon. The best thing about this mat is the comfort. It's 6mm thick, which is the same as my old cheap mat, but the density is so much better meaning my knees don't hurt anymore at all in poses such as low lunges! It really makes a huge difference to my practice!It's also beautiful and has a lovely feel to it. I quite like the central line for a bit of alignment guidance too.I spent ages trying to decide what mat to get and it was actually the cute bag and towel that swayed it as I'm not all set for when my classes start next month! It's sooo lightweight it won't be a problem to carry at all. Ready

Can’t fault the design of the mat. Beautiful, nice thickness, lovely quality bag. Also absolutely love that I planted a tree with my purchase.However, Im knocking one star off for the price because at the end of the day, it is overpriced. I gave it a go to see if there’s anything special about this one to justify spending an extra £20-30 on but to be honest, a £25 mat from decathlon will be just as good.It’s a lovely mat though and if you want to treat yourself, go for it

Die Matte sieht wirklich schön aus. Tasche und Handtuch sind von guter Qualität. Die Matte ist mir allerdings zu steif, d.h. sie rollt sich leider nicht ganz ab, wenn man sie aus der Tasche nimmt und ausrollt.

Prima Yogamatte, schnell verpackt und sehr leicht.

Love this yoga mat! I bought it a couple of months ago even though it was more expensive than others and I’m so glad I did. I really like that it comes in a nice sturdy bag that even has a pouch to keep your wallet or phone when you go to the gym. There was a towel too.The material looks very high quality and durable. It’s thicker and softer than other mats I’ve used. I bought my previous mat from Mustafa for $20 and after a few months, I noticed small pieces of the material started falling off from the edges. I don’t think that will happen with this mat. I’ve been using it 2-3 days a week for a couple of months and it still looks good.Another thing I like is that it’s made from an eco friendly material. Who doesn’t want to do their bit for the environment.I would highly recommend this mat. The quality and durability is totally worth the price.

No smell. Easy to clean with wet wipes. Any stains will come right off. Tend to curl a little along the edge but no big issue.
