Genuinely Better Than Most Name Brands
I've been building guitars for 15 years, and have used every tuning machine brand and model under the sun. These tuners, specifically the Pro version, are among the best I've ever used. The gears feel like a $400 set of Waverly machines. They are astonishingly smooth and have less backlash than 90% of name brand machines. For the price, they are BY FAR the best value for the money. I will be using these before Grover, Wilkinson, Gotoh, Kluson etc. They perform as well as Hipshot tuners for almost 1/4 of the price. My son and I built a guitar for him, and I bought these because I was wanting to save some money. I just figured these would get me by until I could save up for some nice Kluson machines, but these tuners feel even better than the Kluson's and will be a permanent fixture in my shop from now on. I've already recommended and installed them for several clients since then, and they all love them. The finish is very nice, as well. No obvious plating defects or burrs. Very clean and smooth finish. The locking mechanism is well machined. The tolerances aren't absolutely perfect, but they're good enough to work as if they are perfect. Other budget brands have WAY too much slop and do not effectively lock the strings. I'm 100% confident in these locking mechanisms ability to hold the string in place. We've had no issues with slipping, and we've played the guitar hard and well for about a month now. Finally, the dimensions are perfect. No odd sizes, holes in the wrong spot, stamping/machining inconsistencies, etc. The dimensions and layout are exactly what you'd expect and match their spec sheet. I really cannot recommend these enough. I applaud the team who were behind these. They did an excellent job and clearly cared about the end result, which really shows. It's not often a budget brand releases something of this level of quality, so I have a ton of respect when they do. It's an incredible value for the price, and I could not be happier with my purchase. Time will tell how durable these are, and I will update my review if any issues do arise, but I expect that I won't need to do that.

Perfect fit and upgrade for Squier vintage tuners!
These tuners were a perfect fit for my Classic Vibe Jaguar. Installation was quick and easy. Locking tuners make restrings so much easier so this is a great upgrade over the stock vintage tuners. My low E string tuner was not tuning smoothly but Guyker replaced it quickly and free of charge, they're a great company to deal with. I'd say overall the tuners are not as high quality as higher priced tuners. The turning mechanism sticks out a little far and sometimes get turned in my gigbag leading to an out of tune string. However for the cheap price I don't mind relocking a string every now and then.

Fast, quality install. Fit and finish equal to Gotoh, and I’m picky.
High quality tuners that mounted up quickly, and fit with zero issues. I would buy these again, no problems. If there were anything wonky I would have sent back.

Vintage Style, not vintage.
I tried putting these on a true vintage guitar: a Kent Lido from the 60's. While they did fit and looked perfect, I had to enlarge the holes slightly and use a few of the original screws. The spacing was slightly off so I had to place them out of order, but it doesn't bother me much. I like the quality of the actual gear head. They're a nice ratio and very smooth to turn, and they stay in tune relatively well. The only reason I knock off a star is because they didn't fit my true vintage guitar. I'm sure that if you put these on a Stratocaster or something they would fit fine.

Excellent fit and function
Excellent tuners- fit perfectly and worked as well as more expensive locking tuners I've bought previously.

Great upgrade immediate improvement.
I recently got a silvertone 1478 reissue on sale. It was very affordable so I expected a few parts would need upgrades. I've used this brand for my other modern guitar tuners but I've never had vintage style tuners. The guitar was having some tuning issues so I tried a few things. Ultimately upgrading to guyker tuners resolved this. The installation was easy. I did have to add 1 layer of thin copper tape to the ferrules because they were slightly too small for the holes. The movement of the pegs are smoother and sturdier than the factory pegs. There's very little play or jumping so they function much better while still looking like the factory retro tuners.

Don't fit new Squier Offset, which comes with vintage Kluson-style tuners. AMZN AI said otherwise!
These absolutely do NOT fit a Squier Paranormal Offset Telecaster neck. The ferrules are too big to fit in the holes. I could force them with a rubber hammer (LOL!) and possibly crack the headstock or I could ream them out manually (also LOL!). And I could spend 1/4 the price of these tuners on replacement gold ferrules (the existing ones are chrome, which obviously don't go with the gold and blue of these tuners, which is the whole point of them), but I cannot be sure if the shafts on these tuners would fit the smaller off-brand ferrules. Instead I am left with tuners that would aesthetically only work on the one guitar they definitely won't fit. Serves me right for believing the Amazon AI tool when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED IT if these would fit this particular Squier model! Sure, I should have measured. But in 2025 it is not unreasonable to "believe" the product page on Amazon.com has the right answer. Won't be making that mistake again. And since these should be drop-in replacements for Classic Vibe Squiers, which use the SAME size ferrules as the Paranormal... Be careful out there! I don't know who Guyker thinks their audience is for their cheaply made Chinese products, but people who buy actual Fender don't buy this junk. It's us Squier modders who do. Get your act together, Guyker! You too Amazon with your unreliable AI.

Buy 2 sets. Gear skipping.
I bought 2 sets of these. Out of the two sets I got one complete working set. I had to mix and match to make it work. Even then, it's not perfect - I had to go back and swap tuners again after finding that one of them skips gears while tuning (you'll hear it click and it'll go loose, the internal gear 'jumps', skipping over gear teeth.) List of issues you can experience: Some may skip gears. If it goes loose and clicks you'll know. Some may be installed unevenly in the housing, making it so that the gear is tight and does not operate smoothly. These are unpleasant. Some may have more slack than others even if they do not skip gears. If buying the cream plastic set, some of the plastic pegs may be cracked. The replacement hardware is no good. Use the original screws and bushings already installed on your guitar. Overall these are fantastic for the money if you get a good set. They actually hold tuning way better than the stock Squier tuners, no doubt about that. But the fact that they have so many other issues is annoying. I had to settle with 4 of my tuners being great, one having really tight tuning (had to replace the one that skipped gears), and one that has a lot of tuning slack. They work. They're still better than the Squier stuff I was replacing on my Paranormal Tele. But I feel like just a little QC could make these perfect, and it's disappointing you need to combine 2 sets in order to get 1 passable set. At that price you might as well buy official tuners from Fender, Gotoh, etc.
