4.8 stars Comparing ORKEEN vs BOBIBAN
ORKEEN has a battery limit of 12 hours vs BOBIBAN 14 hours. Otherwise these are identical units, so I had the same results.I have one normal ear. The other is weak on some frequencies. Using a cell phone with my bad ear, I cannot hear most people talking clearly. I must use my good ear. That provides a good test for comparing the ORKEEN results- does the weak ear improvement match my good ear. Battery charging takes 2 hours. The criteria for this review1) Does the earbud stay in my ear?2) Is it comfortable?3) Is the volume adequate?4) Can it improve tone frequency deafness?5) Does it relay orchestra music accurately? After switching to a smaller bud and some trial and error, it stayed in place. I prefer to listen to orchestra music on headphones for the stereo effect (I do have a high end sound system also but you have to sit in front of it for the same effect). Headphones reveal if the 2 ears are matched for volume and tones. I test this by swapping the headphone sides.YesYes, plenty of power. I had to go up 3 settings to match the music volume. However, this setting was much too loud for me to speak or to hear someone else speaking. That means the MODE must be changed. There are 4 modes: regular, outdoor, noise cancellation, and conversation. Holding the “+” or “-“ for 3 seconds changes the mode. The same buttons change the volume by a quick tap.The louder volume did help with the frequency but did not fully overcome it but it was close.Music is an important part of my life. Hearing individual instruments featured in an orchestra is what I enjoy. I tried several instrumental selections. Some instruments did not fully perform. I know because I swapped the headphones and what was a little weak in the bad ear was clear in the good.It would have been solved if I could have increased specific frequencies like the CONILER unit. Also the problem I encountered was that the ear cushion on the headphones frequently covered the microphone. That is why the reduced rating. If you do not use headphones, the unit is impressive. When I returned the aid to the charging case, the blue lights stayed on for about 10 minutes. Finally the 1 solid light that indicated the case was recharging the earbud remained for a few minutes and then it went off. The instructions were not real clear on this sequence. I was worried that the lights remaining on permanently would discharge the battery. But now you know about it.

Hopefully it's just me
I have tried this product for over a month now. I bought it because my wonderful s/o ever so slightly complains that the TV is on too loud in the bedroom for her to sleep. I thought I should get some helpby means of this hearing amplifier. The earphones get charges via USB cable in a well designed magneticearphone holder. Charging time was fast and easy. The earphones stayed in my ears without any problems. However, despite of playing with all available options I was really never able to listen to "amplified" sound. There was a ton of shrill high pitch feedback whenever my fingers were close to the unit and when I talked it felt like I was screaming inside a tunnel. I really wanted this to work. Alas in my instance it didn't. Other reviewers seem to have a different experience, maybe I have a faulty unit.

Just didn’t work for for me.
I had great hopes for this, but it just didn’t help me.There was noise interference and screeching at times. No matter how I tried to adjust it just wasn’t what I was looking for.

Can You Hear Me NOW?
Though they have weaknesses, these hearing aids work a lot better than others I have tried. I really like that there are four different modes to select from: Standard, Noise Reduction, Conversation, or Outdoor. The problem is that it is not easy enough to switch between them. There are only two buttons on each ear piece: volume + and volume -. You need to long press either of these buttons to change modes. The unit will beep, ever so quietly, to indicate which mode you are in. A louder beep happens when the ear piece goes back in your ear. Holding down on the + button will move you up one mode while holding down on the - button moves you down a mode. Each ear piece must be set separately. Which is kind of a pain since it seems like I always have to hold buttons more than once because either I fail to move to the next mode or I go a step too far. The difference between the different modes seems to be pretty minimal. Maybe it would be more distinct if my hearing was worse. It is nice that volume can be set differently for each ear.The charging case is a nice feature. I like that it uses a standard USB-C charging cable (included). There are also five or six different sizes of rubber "ear domes" and a cleaning brush. There is a small 30 page instruction manual that is well written and quite comprehensive plus a "Quick Operation Guide."I have had no ringing or squealing from these hearings aids whatsoever. There are two microphones on each unit and they are lightweight and comfortable to wear. When you take them out of the case and put them in your ears they turn on automatically and turn off when you return them to the case. I had to turn the volume down a couple of times as it was actually too loud. So I guess amplification is pretty good.I would recommend these for anyone who has talked to a hearing professional and confirmed that a unit like this may help with their particular hearing problem.

Good audio when fitted. Useful quick-charge. Light weight
I like the features of these hearing aids. The best is that you can get about 3-hours of use from a 15-minute quick charge. There are paired microphones on each one that seem to improve audio. There are four profiles for different sound settings, which work pretty well for me. The key with any hearing aid is to fit it well, to avoid any feedback or rumbling. These are quite light-weight, too.
