I am learning to make truffles and with everything I’ve read the polycarbonate molds are the best. I had a tiny bit of trouble the first time getting my truffles out, but I just left them in the fridge a little bit longer and it worked. It also depends how good you are at tempering your chocolate. The molds are smaller than I thought but still work well. I prefer a small candy over a large one anyway. Don’t laugh at my photo, first attempt ever making molded truffles.

Hands down my favorite mold for chocolates. I briefly experimented with silicone molds, but these reign supreme! So easy for small truffles. Will be purchasing more.

Painted the moulds with melted chocolate and added my bourbon ball filling. Sealed the top with chocolate. After the chocolate hardened it was still extremely difficult to release the candy from the mold. Several cracked and broke apart.

The product will not clean. Luster dust is stuck and permanently imbedded into the mold. I tried alcohol and vinegar to clean the mold after use with no prevail. I bought two molds and both are not cleanable. Otherwise the chocolate came easily out of the mold, but lacked shine.
