I INSTALLED IT LAST NIGHT AND WATCHED IT CONTROL THE THREE SPRINKLERS THAT WATER OUR VEGETABLE GARDEN THIS MORNING IT WAS A SNAP TO PROGRAM, AND SEEMS TO BE VERY WELL MADE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS UNIT TO FRIENDS.

Didn't even operate for two seasons. This was the second one that I bought in the last five years, and you think I would have learned. The manual setting will not work on the zone you select, and switches to the next zone. It worked fine a week ago, but not now and repeated attempts. The first one totally failed after the second season. And now this one won't work on the manual setting. DON'T BUY THIS CHINESE GARBAGE.

Spent time reading the reviews and thank you everyone who detailed their experience with this product. I'm pretty happy with it but everyone's right, there is no way to set zones or cycles to happen on different days. I'm lucky with my water pressure so can run two zones at once but I have them split because I set it up that way. Would be nice if switching to manual was a simple as just moving to manual... On manual, I have two zones set at zero minutes and the third at 30 minutes so I can hand water some things. The display is pretty clear and even crouched behind the Holly bushes where my faucet is I've been able to work it without too much trouble.

Update: Seller contacted me after my review. They sent me a new timer as a replacement. It has been a few months and it appears to be working properly thus far. Maybe the initial one I received was just bad. I appreciate the Seller contacting me of their own accord and working with me to get a timer that works. I've adjusted my rating to 3 stars because of the responsiveness of the Seller. I am waiting on giving additional stars to see if this timer lasts for a longer period of time.Received this Timer at the beginning of May. By the end of June, it was no longer working correctly. The timer portion itself worked, but it would not open the solenoid to release the water on any of the 3 zones. Had to buy different timers locally, which cost me $100. I purchased this timer based on the reviews and the fact that it could be used for 3 zones, and paid a little more than I wanted to spend. It didn't last even 2 months! Also, although the programming itself wasn't that hard, I do not like the way the Manual watering feature works. It will manually water all 3 zones at the same time, which doesn't not work well if you have impact sprinklers and/or water pressure issues. In order to manually water 1 zone at a time, you have to make sure the other zones are set to 0 minutes. Then after watering the first zone, you have to change that zone to 0 minutes, and add minutes to the second zone, etc. Did not find that helpful at all. I do not recommend purchasing this timer.
