Utopia Towels 4 Pack Premium Bath Towels, 27x54 in, 600 GSM Cotton White

Utopia Brand is a staple in my house. I have typically only used the pillows in the past and they have been great. I decided to get new towels and saw Utopia offered them. I read multiple reviews before purchasing and noticed a lot of people complained about roughness but others said wash them first. So that’s what I did. I ordered the black towels. Upon arrival they were a little rough. I immediately washed them in hot water with a cup of vinegar and I could tell a difference almost immediately. I washed them a second time on quick wash in a cold cycle to lock in the color. I dried them with wool balls in the dryer on normal heat. They came out extremely fluffy and soft and there isn’t much lint. I’ve used a couple so far and they’ve been great. I have the bath towels and the wash cloths. The bath towels have a nice weight to them and are a nice size as well. Overall they are a 10/10. The black towels are rich in color and don’t look grey so I am more than pleased.

Bath towels are super soft, absorbent and good quality. Wash them separately first wash as they produce lint. After that they are good to go. I just bought their hand towels.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Ordered these twice in grey. I really like the color and the first set was very soft and absorbent. I decided to purchase again about 6 months later but the second set looks good but it feels different. I immediately noticed a difference after the first use when it took multiple passes to dry myself. As other reviewers have stated, its almost as though they are coated with some kind of water resistant compound. Trying to dry my hair after a shower is almost comical. 5 stars for the first set, 3 stars for the second set averaging out at 4 stars combined. Not sure if the new towels will become better with use. They feel nice and soft but fail at their job of drying you off after a shower. Very disappointed in the second set. To the manufacturer: please review any changes to the manufacturing process in the past 6 months or so and revert back to the old quality of the towels.

Last year I bought towels from another company and was disappointed so I was a little leary about buying towels online. However, based on reviews, I gave these a chance. These were head and shoulders better than my last purchase. The size was fine, the thickness good. Overall, no complaints and would get these again. One note...these are not super large bath towels.....but the size was perfectly fine and worked for me.

Love these towels. Thick and so far staying nice and fluffy. I bought quite a few months ago (march) softness last, the color (dark grey) is lovely. I like these a lot. Affordable

These towels are a classic case of "you get what you pay for." They're okay, but that's about the highest praise I can give them. If you're looking for something basic and functional without breaking the bank, these might fit the bill. However, don't expect to be wowed. My main gripe is their thinness. They feel a bit flimsy, almost like a step up from a paper towel. While they do absorb water, it takes a few more passes than I'd like to get completely dry, and they just don't have that luxurious, plush feel that truly great towels offer. If you're used to thick, fluffy towels that wrap you in comfort, these will be a noticeable downgrade. They also tend to wrinkle quite a bit after washing and drying, so if a crisp, neat look is important to you, be prepared to do some folding right out of the dryer. On the flip side, the price is decent. For what they are, they're not outrageously expensive, and if you need a large quantity of towels for a guest bathroom, a rental property, or just for everyday use where durability and absorbency aren't top priorities, they're a reasonable option. They've held up to a few washes without any major fraying or falling apart, so that's a plus. Ultimately, these towels are just passable. They'll get the job done, but they won't elevate your bathroom experience. If you're on a tight budget and need something to dry off with, go for it. But if you're dreaming of wrapping yourself in a cloud of softness after a shower, you'll need to invest in something a little more substantial.
