Does the triple butter have a scent to it, and if so how strong is it?

Hi, There is no scent added to this soap. Most crafters add their own scent. It could also be used as an unscented soap if you choose to leave the scent out.

The description says this base is sulfate free however, the ingredients have sulfates listed. Is this base sulfate free or not?

The description refers to "sodium lauryl sulfate free" There is a an item in the formula "Sodium Laureth Sulfate" which is milder than Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Here is what is currently in the description. "Paraben free and sodium lauryl sulfate free so there is no worry about using our products."

Is this soap base good to make solid shampoo?

Thank you for contacting us about our soap. This soap is not ideal for a shampoo. I personally do use it on my hair and have good results but you should test it on your own hair to be sure. It may not work for long hair. If you want a solid shampoo bar you should look for a base that is specifically formulated to be a shampoo.
