Great value. This little bendy gem is versatile and pretty light weight. I use this if I am on the go and I don't want to carry the "big" stuff. It holds the position pretty well. The little balls are a bit stiff until you have used the tripod a bit and had a chance to break them in. I like these little tripods a lot.

The clamp holds the phone well. The arms have enough movement and flexibility to change positions and wrap around poles without coming undone easily. The rubberized nodules are grippy without being too grippy. However, the arms are not strong enough to support the weight of a phone without sagging; it still holds on to a pole or branch, but the phone sags down. It does work perfectly as a flexible tripod and I can see it working exactly as I need it to in almost all circumstances.

Almost too small, it easily tips over.

Why is it my third time? Because I keep giving them away! See, I’ll tell people how awesome it is, that it is so portable, fitting in my bag, folding so small, yet opens to hold my 13 pro plus with ease. And because they are ball joints, there’s no breaking from bending too much (like another brand did to me). I show them how it works and all of a sudden, I’m handing it over to them (sucker? Maybe, but it makes their day). Thank you, JOBY for the reasonable price. I appreciate it. Note: this one does have the less fancy phone grip. But it works like a champ.

I'm really disappointed in this purchase. I'm a service dog trainer and I was looking for a small flexible tripod for my phone while training the dogs out in public. I do videos and occasionally lives. I wanted something I could quickly prop my phone on a shelf or wrap around an item. But this thing struggles to hold my Galaxy A71 5g. Especially if I need social media portrait view. I was excited about the mount that came with it. I thought how nice the whole thing could fold up and fit in my pocket. But like a lot of mounts, it can't fit over the round metal magnet/finger ring on my case. So I have to put the mount to one end of the phone. Tonight I was trying to get the legs to wrap around a chair and it really struggled to hold up the phone. When I try to use it as a tripod, it's difficult to get the legs straight enough to support the phone and get it leveled. Too much play, believe it or not. And a few times the locks have just come apart. I know the Myth Busters guy uses something like this bit his is much bigger.

I had a previous mode of this tripod/phone mount but it didn’t fold up very well when not in use. This one has a notch in the silver cylinder so the ball joint allows the camera mount to fold right down beside the legs to become nice and compact. The flexible legs are easy to manipulate, and the spring in the camera mount makes it easy to attach/remove the phone. Some have mentioned that it could be a bit tippy and it can fall over easily, but I find that if I lower the centre of gravity by “squatting” the legs, it is very solid (see pic).

Very useful gadget. Please note some people have said you could not use the phone on landscape mode as it would fall over to the sides, and hence, you should use in portrait mode when taking photos. Actually, by adjusting legs, you can take photos in whichever mode you want. Pls note, this is not some super expensive and overly sophisticated tool, it does the job, good value for money. My wife who is not a super tech savvy person (and not a photographer either) used this stand with ease.
