I have big hands and this fits me. Experienced knife user and this exceeds expectations. Sharpens well. Cuts great. Comfortable to wear even while active. Good sheath stays secure on belt even when removing the knife. Wasn’t sure about the angled blade but the motions to use it are natural for a variety of tasks. I recommend it and would certainly buy it again if needed.

Other than the fact it’s stamped with “Made in Taiwan” right on the blade it an awesome little knife. I’ve only had it for a day so I can’t attest to its’ longevity but I’m only using it as a self defense weapon, not an everyday blade for opening boxes and such. It’s razor sharp out of the box. The weight feels good in your hand but isn’t not even noticeable when it’s on a belt or even gym shorts. It deploys easily if it’s anchored to a belt but a little trickier with gym shorts. It still deploys but you have to tug a bit harder to get it out which, is probably a good thing. The clip is reversible which is really nice. It gives you the choice to not only carry right or left side but you can choose which way the handle is positioned too. I reversed mine so when it’s on my right side the knife will deploy with the blade in my palm so it’s facing away from my body. I prefer this position as I can still close my fist easily with the handle in my hand. This is the preferred method of carry for self defense purposes. All-in-all I’m very happy with this knife. For the price point you can’t go wrong. I compared it to a lot of similar knives and I’m glad I chose this one.

This is a great self-defense knife, fits well in the hand, and is very intuitive. This knife is also virtually undetectable under a shirt. Only downside is the holster it comes with is rather floppy, especially on my thinner nylon belt. Although this issue is easily solved by unscrewing the clip, clamping your belt in between and screwing it back down. The retention on mine is very heavy, just pulling on the knife may not get it out if you are a person with weaker hands, but pushing on the holster with your thumb (the intended way) helps to release it from the holster. This knife definitely isn't going anywhere unless you want it to. Also, all the screws in the holster come with blue thread locker on them, which is a nice touch. This knife is also not for general use, the steel is not designed to be used regularly and the edge will not hold up for very long if you use it for everyday tasks. Overall this knife excels at the use case it was designed for. A easily concealable, last-ditch weapon. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great self-defense knife. Cons: The screws are tiny and can strip easily if you over tighten them. also, the L shaped Torx wrench included is not double ended, and makes removing the screws take quite a lot of time. If I had to make an improvement, it would be larger screws, and a double ended tool to speed up maintenance/configuration changes.

Ok, this knife is great. I'm a state trooper and have to work alone alot in my job. My backup my take awhile to arrive. I need to be able to handle myself until help arrives. Why I like this knife is because it's small and hides in my belt, and it has a quick draw. I can grab and pull this weapon out lightning fast. The design of this knife is second to none. It fits great in your hand and is razor sharp. I wear it on duty and off duty. Off duty it's completely concealed and just blends into my clothing on my belt. I ordered a second one now that has the serrated style. For 34.00 it's totally worth it. It's good quality and seems very durable.

Knife was great well designed, solid. Sheath I received was way to loose, knife just falls out. I attempted to tighten it but it bent the provided wrench with it. Didn’t want to break sheath and not be able to return it so I just gave up and returned it. Can’t have a knife that sharp loose on my body

I really was not sure what I would get from a $30 dollar knife even though it has the Ka-Bar name. Well I have a well constructed, sharp, and easily handled concealed weapon. Originally intended for a weak hand draw for LEOs and to be worn behind their magazine pouch. As a civilian I wear it in 11 o'clock position for weak hand draw or strong hand draw. The sheath that came with it is nice, I do not think it is Kydex, but the knife clicks in and will not come out until you want it to. The belt clip is reversible (so you can have the sheath inside or outside the belt) and clips around my belt securely. The belt clip seems kinda of week at first because there is not a lot of tension on it, but after months of wearing it and taking it on and off at least twice a day it is still holding strong. I do not use this as a pocket knife and I have only used it once as such, so I can not tell you how the edge will hold under heavy use. Overall I am extremely happy with the quality of the TDI and would recommend this to anyone who would like a self defense edged weapon.

I have been carrying this product for about a month and a half now, and I absolutely love the design. Initially, I was worried about the blade retention (since there wasn’t a physical locking switch, I was paranoid about stabbing myself if it came out), but the retention is still spectacular. The sheath almost “splits” at the top to lock the blade into place and it hasn’t gotten looser over time at all. The blade handle fits my hand perfectly and the blade (while a bit short) feels like an extension of my hand when I’m drilling with it. The overall handle design blew my KABAR TDI Hinderer Hellfire out of the water (and the Hellfire has a pretty decent handle). I’d consider myself to be of average build, and the knife fits perfectly in the small of my back whether I’m sitting or standing. I’m really glad that I purchased one (just one for now). :) Note that the belt clip fits well on a standard dress belt or inner belt but is just too short to fit on the outer layer of my 5.11 duty belt.

Most of the reviews for the actual knife are excellent and I agree. I will address the negative reviews about the holster. The major complaint about the holster is that it is too tight and it is difficult to remove the knife. I disagree. As you can see from my pics the holster has a thumb grip to assist in removing the knife. A quick press results in an audible click as the knife releases and then it is free to grab. I would consider this a safety feature and not a con. The knife is always firmly in the holster until you want it. Anytime someone purchases a concealed weapon for self defense the expectation should be that they practice unholstering and "dry-firing" the weapon. I have had mine for a day and have probably randomly drawn it 100x already, each time becoming faster at clicking off the "safety" and withdrawing the weapon. This will insure muscle memory when I need it most. In my opinion: Great knife, great holster, but they sell aftermarket ones right here on Amazon that are looser if you just can't get used to it.

Excellent knife. It clips on my belt and feels very sturdy. Every first responder should have one for a all else fails weapon. Ka-bar has never let me down. I have only had it out twice and used it once. Compact and very easy to get out efficiently especially if your on your back fighting for your life. Great to deliver a armpit puncture or go through logging to deliver a fast tendon slice. Like I said I have kmly had to use it once. Ka-bar has never let me down.

箱出しで紙がスッと切れました。 メーカーやレビューの数からして良いものだということは分かると思うので実際に触った感想挙げます。 ハンドルは思ったよりも急角度だった。折り畳みナイフだったら不安しかない角度ですが、シースナイフなので大丈夫なはず。ただカランビット系のリングの有難みを実感。穴に指入れとけば刃の方に滑ったりしないですからね。 キャンプとかでワンチャン食べ物切れないかなと思いましたが、まあ参考画像見てわかることですが切っ先とグリップ後端がマナ板などに同時にぶつかります。このナイフ専用の技術を身に付ければ調理にも使えるかもしれません。 シースにはしっかりカチッと入ります。多分文字通り振り回しても大丈夫。ハンドルも丸くて引っ掛かりにくいですし、しっかり真上に引き抜かないといけないので誤って抜ける事態はほぼ無いでしょう。 シースのクリップは付け替え可能ですが、私の場合参考画像とは逆側にクリップが付いた状態で到着しました。シースを外側にして右手用に装着すると逆手になってしましますが、ベルトの内側やズボンの内側に装着するのであれば順手になりますね。もちろん職質一発アウトなのでやりませんが、妄想の中のキャラクターに装備させるときの参考にはなりました。 一応スペック上は銃刀法外のナイフかもしれませんが、たとえ本当にキャンプ中であっても軽犯罪法でトラブル起きそうなものですので、日本においてはコレクション用途か、文明滅亡の危機への備えとして家に置いておくのがいいでしょう。

Wow. Just... wow. Great feel, awesome sheath, razor-sharp outta the box, terrific size and obvious high-quality. Definitely looking forward to using this as an EDC. Small enough to not get in the way, but enough size to do serious damage... if need be. Another quality product from Ka-Bar. Once again, fantastic shipping via Intelcom. If you live in a country like me (Canada ) where carrying a gun is illegal and don't want to lug around a heavy knife in your pocket everyday then I would say this is the perfect knife to get. Takes a little bit of practice to be able to draw it fast without the whole sheath coming off but you can just use your thumb to hold down the sheath as you draw the knife. Well made. Light. Cheap. Delivered the next day. And sharp. A great combination. What more could you ask for?

Its perfect. Blade very sharp. Zytel handle , hard plastic sheath and belt clip are very durable and strong.
