Completely useless
Both connectors were wired different, both were still completely wrong. Only usable if you know the actual usb pinout and can repin the connector. One actually had the 5v power line in the blank slot.Ridiculous that this is sold as a "finished" product when its clearly just being hacked together overseas.

1 out of the 2 wires works perfectly, which is fine for me because I only needed one but is still important to know for anyone looking to use both.

If you have the need to have internal USB A ports then this is the ticket, most people may never need this adapter but those that do know why.

Odds are good it's wired wrong, and don't expect them to be keyed
I regret not taking photos beforehand, but I can confirm the pair I got had the wires going to the wrong slots. With mine, I think red even went to a keyed slot, so you have to wonder how this "2023 batch" (as I can infer from these other reviews) got it so wrong.I wouldn't even have noticed the wrong wiring if I hadn't already installed two other things with USB headers. With these, the red wires were on the other side, and that was the only way it would plug in (and the other one in the pair wasn't keyed at all). I suspected something was wrong, and not wanting to blow anything up, I headed here to the Amazon reviews for help.The fix, at least, was easy. The reviews by Dakota and Daniel here on Amazon were immensely helpful; the colors were indeed the correct colors for the wires (confirmed with a multimeter), and if you're lucky you can reuse the housing after you break the wires out of them. I didn't have to crimp anything, and that is always the hardest part when working with something like these.So just be careful if you get these. Yes, they're a good price. But if you're looking for this product at all, you already know what to look out for and can fix it yourself. That means one hand curled in a fist out of anger and another hand patting yourself on the back for being able to fix it for free in seconds.

Nice simple connection, it could be a bit tighter maybe, but exactly what I needed for my unraid boot usb.

Works but design could be improved
Even though its only a single USB port, the connector uses up TWO ports (both rows of the USB header). Bad design. You end up wasting one mobo USB port if you connect this.

Fausses description et mauvaises qualité
La description est pas la bonne.Connecteur 9 pin mais juste 5 pin dans le câble.Très mauvaise qualité j'ai même pas osé branché un câble usb dedans.
