Came broken TWICE
I ordered the white version listed last year (according to my order history) and my son uses it daily and has never had an issue. It works great for him, never fell over, and the only damage to it is scuff he has made. So of course i was going to get the same for my daughter who now has interest in getting on my son’s kitchen helper. I ordered the white, it got delivered to the wrong address so I had to get a replacement. However, the white was no longer available, so we went with the grey option. First one comes and I get it out to put it together and the top rail is broken in two. Clean cut like it was cute with a saw. I request an exchange and the other came and I got it out this morning to set it up. It’s broken the exact same way on the top rail and the second rail. Then I look at the other side and it’s actually cracked and almost in two as well on the top and second rails. I am choosing a different kitchen helper. I don’t want the thing to collapse with my kids on it! There’s clearly some type of defect. The shipping boxes were in perfect condition both times.

No instructions
No instructions but put together anyway. Step wobbles. Predrilled holes for wooden dowels weren't into the step to attach to boards so it rotated when stepped on. One of the screws had metal shavings sticking out and cut my finger.

Sturdy and nice gender neutral color
I've been using this kitchen helper for three months and it is indeed a help in the kitchen! Now my daughter helps me wash veggies and fruits, and sometimes help mix up some stuff, or add seasoning to the food. There's definitely less yelling during cooking time now ;) Also like this really elegant and gender neutral color a lot.

Aesthetically pleasing
This step ladder was very appealing as it would match my decor and seemed to be able to grow with my children. Plus the weight limit is higher for my older son. ASSEMBLY: My husband put it together and he was shocked that they recommended using the tool that came with it and they didn’t even have all of the holes pre-drilled. He used his power tools for 95% of the assembly and as you can see in the photos, struggled a little with the step and lining it up. Weight limit was tested and definitely holds 160 lbs but there is some creaking. Also not sure how good quality the wood is as the first set arrived with cracks in it and now after a few days of use this one is also showing some hairline cracks. Growing with the kids- the platform had a wonderful and easy design to adjust it higher and lower using an adjustable screw set. All in all, I do recommend this but think it’s better investment for younger kids. Mine are 4 and 6.

Not impressed at all
The first one I got was cracked in several places and was unable to be used- thankfully amazing replaced it. Just assembled my second one and I’m still not impressed. The stepping stool is all janky, I had to drive some more screws in it to make it not wobbly, which kinda cracked the wood a bit. The safety board that you remove to get in the tower also doesn’t fit into the one side so that’s annoying. The space for it isn’t wide enough for it to fit in there. Honestly, not worth the money and I won’t buy again. The directions hardly tell you how to do anything and they’re missing the directions to assembled the rest of the sterling stool.

Unsafe
I was looking for a comparable kitchen helper/stand for my toddler and this is absolutely not it. There are a few issues but the BIGGEST is that it's easily tipped forward. My daughter was in this for maybe 20 seconds and reached for something on the table and thankfully I was standing there because it tipped forward and the back two legs came off the ground. It's extremely narrow and I feel like that might be the reason it tips forward. It's very lightweight, she was pushing it around herself (she's 18 months). Also, there was a flaw with the back "step" and the two side base pieces did not have the correct holes and the step itself, part "g", was missing holes to attach it to the base. The directions are extremely vague and because of this it took me some time to realize that there were defects in the parts I was supposed to put together. I personally feel like this should not be safe to be sold until the manufacture changes the design to avoid children tipping it forward. The current product is a safety concern. I would have given it '0' stars if that was an option.

Instructions not clear for assembly
Difficult instructions to follow when putting it together. Vital part missing from box. I did contact the seller but have not received the missing dowel. Unfortunately, this is a safety feature that keeps the child from falling off the stool.

Product arrived broken twice
Product arrived broken, twice. Amazon really needs to figure out how to ship this item without it cracking. Material looked as expected, cheaper pressed wood but sturdy.
