So cute
Amazing story, fun to read. I'm not big on strategy in games, but this book made it some what more understand. I really like the characters as well. Hope to see more!

Decent read with potential although it is a slow start
Salary man dies of a heart attack on the way to work and is reborn as the oldest son of a minor noble. He has the skill to see the stats and talents as related to ruling and the military. Realizing he lives in a nation on the brink of civil war, he needs that skill to find skilled retainers that would keep him and his loved ones alive and thriving. Recruiting people as a kid is not easy though.I enjoyed the story well enough, entertaining characters, and an intriguing core plot. The MC is not somebody who can handwave their way to victory on his own. Less a fan of making it an isekai, because at least in this volume the only thing it adds is an explanation for his smarts as a kid, which could easily be avoided by simply having the story start at a later age. It also very much a set up volume, introducing characters, world and plot, but with little true progress, which I don't mind much, but it does mean it lacks a strong hook for the reader. All in all, decent read for its genre, and one with potential despite its flaws.

I can't wait for book 2
I know the manga is currently out but I've always loved the light novels as they tend to have better character building overall. I hope book 2 comes out soon as well.

Wow what an amazing start to a series. I cannot wait to see what happens next!! War is on the horizon and Ars is hopefully going to make a splash in it and show his worth.

Pretty decent overall
Overall, the story has a fast pace and it is predictable. The protagonist is quite underwhelming when compared to others in the same genre, but overall, still a good read to pass the time. I also feel like there are lots of opportunity to add depth to the story and some parts feel a bit lacking.

Not reading until it's fixed because that's annoying
Can't read on the kindle without internet connection even if it's downloaded. It didn't show up on library had to be opened from store page

An enjoyable read, but...
It's a good enough book, however the fact that it sits separately in my Kindle library bothers me to a far greater extent than it reasonably should. Can someone please look into this?
