ZINUS Korey Metal Platform Bed Frame with Upholstered Headboard / Wood Slat Support / No Box Spring / Easy Assembly, Queen

My package arrived today and was very well put together. The foam protection and the box layout was very thoughtful. The headboard was the heaviest in the box and the center piece. I am so glad I spent extra for this model! I put all the pieces together without any help. The instructions are one of the best and easiest to understand. Pieces are tagged with numbers and alphabets. Even a 10 year-old could put this together. I am very happy with this purchase. Very sturdy and perfect for what I needed.

I got the Queen size bed. The bed is for my teenage son. We put it together very easy, maybe 30 mins. Instructions are easy to follow. Truly simple assembly. Of course always easier with two people. No screws, just bolts, and they are hex key assembled, so no screwdrivers needed, just the basic hex key tool, and the bed comes with one plus another one in a neat wrench-like from. Very cool to keep afterwards. Nice ground clearance, if you like a bed up on legs for the look, and/or also for storage, then this is for you. headboard material is grey color, looks nice, plush foam inside, it just looks nice and good quality. Headboard is not tall, I think maybe like 3 feet, but it is great (for us) because my son did not want some huge tall headboard taking up wall space. the slats fit on there perfectly... they were spaced out with a strap going down both sides, which is very helpful, and there is velcro on the inside of the side rails, so when you set the slats down they velcro to the strip on the side rails, which is just cool and a good measure to help keep them in place. And then two sticky strips on top are supposed to help keep your mattress from sliding off. They were def strong sticky strips. We put the mattress (no boxspring needed) on the bed, stepped back, took a look, it looked clean and simple... done! He laid on it, then so I did I, we moved around, trying to hear squeaks, creaks, stuff I figured we would hear from a $150 metal bed, but nothing... no sound. Maybe in time it will happen, but its a $150 metal bed frame... Anyway, very pleased, it is lightweight, strong, no noises yet, and really does have a nice look to it. Plus again, the height of it is great because you have great clearance, easy to vacuum under (yay!), and no boxspring needed, so it is a high bed, in a sense, with just a mattress, but not actually high, for my teenage son it was like the perfect height to roll over an slip right off the bed to get up. He hasn't even slept in it yet, so we will see how or if my thoughts change... but initial review is very very good. I'm just a regular guy who wanted a queen frame bed for my kid, solid and with a headboard but simple and clean looking, and with good ground clearance, and not expensive... and I never thought I'd order it online.. but I did, and I'm very happy, and this seems to be a great bed!

First the frame. Once assembled, it's really solid. No give whatsoever. It appears to be all steel framing. Second the headboard: It's simple with a bit of foam padding covered by decent quality material. When I saw it was made in China, I was disappointed. However, it turned out to be very well made. The whole thing can be put together by one person. I saw that some had it together in 30 minutes, but I spent about 1 1/2 hours assembling mine. I'm 72 and my eyes aren't what they once were. I comes with everything needed to assemble the frame. All screw type bolts in several lengths and styles plus a small ratchet and Allen wrench, both the same size. I found the ratchet to be the most useful. My only disappointment (and it's a small thing) is that this unit is designed for only a mattress without using the box springs. I think there were about 14 or 16 wooden slats that eliminate the need for box springs. Nonetheless I still used my box springs along with my mattress. The down side of that is less of the headboard is seen. I have this bed in my guest house next door to mine. It's for my children and grandchildren. I have a total of seven beds there. Hope this helps.

After 2ish months, I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality of this bed frame at the price it comes in at. Pros: - Cost - Storage - Super sturdy and no noise. I move a good bit in my sleep and weigh 240 pounds with no issues regarding noise or stability. - Assembly. Despite a small issue (listed below), the bed was extremely easy to put together for one person. Had everything set up and ready to go within an hour. Cons: - Bed frame part arrived assembled wrong and we thought the frame was broken. Was quite frustrating until we realized the issue. - Size. If you have a thicker mattress, the headboard will more than likely be covered by the mattress and pillows. Not a huge deal for me personally but something to keep in mind when purchasing. Overall I’m very happy with this purchase. Hoping as the months go by I will not need to come back and edit this review but so far so good! UPDATE: This bed is still just as sturdy as when I first purchased almost 2 years ago. I was not expecting this bed to last as long as it has and I'm extremely pleased with how well it has held up. UPDATE 2: 3 years later the bed is still great! Some minor creaking here and there, but insanely impressed that it's still solid.

Purchased this instead of just the frame. It's cute and really easy to put together.

It is very easy to assemble. I bought a 12 inch mattress in a box for it that fits great and doesn't hide the headboard. It is STURDY (no squeaking) and looks really clean and modern. I am very happy with my choice. I love the 14 inch space under the bed for easy clean, and you can use it for storage especially if space is limited. Plus it gets you off the ground and is easier to get into the bed then if it was lower. I am happy and recommend it.

Was easy enough to assemble on my own, and is both light and sturdy. Plenty of space underneath for each cleaning and storage, which is what I was looking for. Happy with this purchase!

I was a bit surprised (and happily so) to see how solid a construction this bedframe offered. The metal used is much thicker than some other items I've purchased and the result is a steady, non-wobbly end product. The bolts used are decidedly heftier that what you get in a typical DIY furniture project. The tools are neatly packaged and they even include a ratchet wrench Allen key which is miles (kilometers? )better than being stuck with an S-shaped Allen key. The bolts supplied are also a bit heftier than anything I've seen on Ikea furniture. All in all, the joints look to be very solid and I don't expect to need to re-tighten them anytime soon. The process was relatively fast, and if you follow the instructions in the order given, you'll have your new bed frame put together in less than a half hour. It is well packed too so little chance of damage during basic delivery. One minor issue: The description here on Amazon stated that there was a 14" clearance from the floor up to the bottom of the platform. This is true. It's one of the reasons I went with this style over others. HOWEVER, Once you have the frame together and toss on the mattress (I just bought a memory-foam Douglas mattress, weighing in at 75 lbs) and sit that on top of a carpeted floor, the extra clearance I was expecting between the frame and my 13.5" bins... well that ½" spare space disappeared as the bed sank a wee bit into the padded carpet. Now obviously this is NOT a problem with the bed frame in any way, but it is something that needs to be considered. So I'll just need to MacGyver myself a way to raise the four legs up by an extra inch as I am not keen on spending $35 or more on a set of plastic risers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this frame to anyone. I'm completely happy with this purchase.

Took me a second to figure out the instructions but took less than thirty minutes to assemble by myself. Box is best to carry with two people although I carried up the stairs alone. Very sturdy and hasn't made a sound though it has only been a couple weeks.
