We live in the South. This is great for our kid's stinky baseball cleats. Play in the rain once = rotten cleats! Put shoes on this dryer every time they're moist and you can fight the funk! This dryer folds down and travels well too. Fan and heat are on a timer so it won't blow all night! Also warm/dry your boots too! The arms on this thing are extendable fitting an array of shoe sizes. Nice product! Paid for itself once by preventing buying new shoes.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he is always getting his kinkos gloves soaking wet in the winter time because he shovels snow. It dries them out well, unlike other dryers, it actually has a fan that forces the air up instead of just letting the air rise. There are a few drawbacks. However, it only has a setting for a few hours at a time. It would be nice to be able to have it on for at least 4+ hours. It is very noisy so it’s annoying to be around and if you turn it on before you go to bed you don’t want to have to wake up in an hour and a half just to turn on again. After only about four months of use, my boyfriend started making an odd banging noise like the fan was dying out or something. I contacted the seller and they sent us a replacement. So they are honest. And I am giving them for stars instead of three, but my rating of the product itself is probably three stars. It works well, but it has some drawbacks, and I’m not so confident that it would actually last for very long.

My grandson who is a boxer said this is one of the best items I have brought him. His gloves dry fast and he can also use it for regular gloves, shoes, etc. I will definitely order another one when needed.

I got one of these and stuck my winter gloves on to see how it worked. Within 5 minutes, there was a clicking noise and the fan/heat turned off (timer still active). I took the gloves off and after several minutes, it clicked back on. And then back off a few minutes later, even with nothing on the drying rods, it turned off again. I extended the arms, which exposes more exit holes for the air. And it still clicked off after only a few minutes.Almost certainly an overtemperature protection circuit tripping.So I returned it as defective and got a replacement. This time I let it warm up to room temperature for a few hours before turning it on, and let it run for several minutes with nothing on it, to get rid of the "new heater smell". With the arms fully extended and machine already running, I put my gloves on the vents. There's an audible change to the fan noise as the gloves go on. Again, after a few minutes, it clicked off with a long time left on the timer. So I adjusted the gloves and waited for it to run again. Same thing. Auto-off after a few minutes. The third try, I set the gloves on as delicately as possible, making sure there was lots of room for air to escape. This time it stayed going.I have yet to decide if it stays or goes back for a refund. This thing had great reviews and if I can't trust that, what other similar product can I trust? I think they should have designed this thing to turn off the heat when necessary and leave the fan running.

Works like a dream, perfect for my 3 boys who play soccer rain or shine! Takes about 90minutes for pretty wet cleats to dry.

Compared to other boot dryers, this product is just as effective at a cheaper price. It works well to dry boots, gloves, socks, etc... I live in Maine, so I use a boot dryer year round. Whether your sneakers are wet with sweat or your winter boots are wet from the slush and snow, this dryer will work well. I like it's small size, but it's still more than capable of drying even the largest boots. It folds down and fits easily under a bench or in a closet when not in use. The only drawback to the small size and light weight is that it may tip over if you're trying to dry heavy boots/shoes. I just lean the shoes against our shoe rack or a wall and it works just fine, but I thought I would mention it as this may be a dealbreaker for some people. The timer feature is nice as well, so you can just "set it and forget it". You don't have to worry about the dryer running all night if you forget to shut it off.
