Comic at it's best
Wie auch Lone Wolf ist die Reihe von Samurai Executioner große Comickunst. Abgesehen von der extremen Qualität der Stories und Zeichnungen wird hier ein sehr genaues Sittengemälde der damaligen Zeit aufgezeigt. Koke und Goseki sind ein unschlagbares Gespann. Wie Uderzo und Goscinny seinerzeit bei Asterix.

Another great volume
Another great volume, though some of the stories felt a little abrupt. Not sure if there is a third omnibus volume or not but was hoping to see a greater focus on the character's life when he married. That story alone would be a great lead up to the Lone Wolf and Cub series, though I am not sure if this story has anything to do with it. I believe I rated the omnibus one 5 stars, but this one only gets 4 due to the story writing here. Still great but not on par with the first omnibus in my opinion. Great read, and read through this one faster then the first. Definitely recommend, writing and minimalist art style is just great and works so well in the context of the story telling here.
