Very strong concentrate! Use with caution if you have never used Kava before. If it numbs your tongue you know it is real. Very relaxing but don’t drive or plan anything dangerous until you know how it affects you. I put it under my tongue for 2 minutes or so, then swish it out with milk and swallow. Kavalactones are absorbed better with fatty liquids. Be prepared for the taste- peppery and numbing.

Update: Would NEVER purchase again, they literally just sent me a jar that had less than 3 grams of material in it, so it's literally missing at least 40% of what it was advertised to contain. It numbs (the mouth) like crazy, but it doesn't numb my brain (which is what I wanted, at least a little). The product coagulates into a stiff, slightly crumbly, reconstituted wax candle consistency.... but that actually makes it easier to work with (I think). Basically, I don't feel it, but my anxiety doesn't get worse when I take it (if that helps). I tried this for my anxiety because regular kava can help sometimes, but I'm pretty sure it's not worth the money. It doesn't seem worth it at this price.

This works GREAT. But as you would expect…it taste horrible. Actually, I was expecting it to taste horrible, but this is about 5 levels past horrible. 🤣 Not to knock the product, it’s FANTASTIC!!! I loved the effects. But there is nothing on this planet that I have found that can mask that taste. 🤢 If evil had a taste, I believe this would be it. 🤣🤣 But don’t let that discourage you. It’s totally worth it. Just prepare yourself for some taste trauma.

This is the 2nd time ordering this. The 1st time was awesome! Super strong, instantly and strongly numbed your mouth. Smelled like it should. Lasted a long time too. Ordered again and received some weird colored goo with white chunks of something mixed in. Obviously changed their extract method, completely different than the first order not long ago. Very very minimal numbing and kava taste, even when I purposefully dispersed the essentially insoluble goo around my mouth. Was stuck on my teeth for ever. Nothing could get it off. Not a kava taste. Effects.. honestly I'm concerned about this. Last batch was relaxing and euphoric.. this oranges goo gives me a serious headache. Raised pulse and honestly anxiety.. not at ALL what I'd expect. Guessing they tried an A/B extraction or something.. I've tried all sorts of kava and I'm not sure what their parent material actually was because for "80% kavalactones" (batch came with a sticker that said 70%) it doesn't do squat that it should. Again, last order was great. This is absolutely NOTHING like the 1st order. They even say "new formula" in the ad now, I'm guessing they tried an A/B extraction or something.. but they missed all the kavalactones and left some solvent or something in it . I ended up just going back to regular old kava brew. Works like a charm. I'd love a response and some more information from the vendor about what exactly this new formula is and the extraction method used. This is so off I'm honestly wondering if it's adulterated or something. S.O. experienced the exact same that I did. I don't get headaches ever normally. Just don't. Every single time I put any of that goo into my body I'm stuck in bed with a pounding throbbing head. Go back to the "old" formula, because this is bunk. Possibly harmful the way that it is causing debilitating headaches to develop within an hour of taking it. Not dosing, I've tried everything from a tiny tiny amount to several times the amount that was neccesary with the last batch. All it did was increase the bad effects.

First off, I’ll say I have a high tolerance to pretty much everything, unfortunately. So, I had to take quite a bit to get the same effect as I get from a traditional kava drink (but I have to drink quite a bit of kava to get the desired effects). This def works but the reverse tolerance is very real and true. Although most people won’t need as much as I do, you will get the effects kava is meant to give you. Also, eating a fatty, fried meal after helps. I also just put it on my tongue and swallowed it whole with milk. The taste is WAY worse than traditional kava, imo. And the taste stays in your mouth unless you eat a high fast, greasy food (I ate cheese tots and the combo worked wonders). When I first tried it, I didn’t eat as high fat of a meal but the high fat def works to help bring out the effects and make them last longer. It def helps with pain (my back is beyond messed up) and anxiety and stress. Also, although it does make me tired after awhile, I only sleep like 30 min (but nothing has ever helped my insomnia). I would def recommend this paste. Just sucks it’s such a small amount. When I received it, it was crystallized (like wax) and only half the package had the paste. So, for the price, they should def fill up the entire “lip balm” size container. And, just my suggestion, but make different sizes. There’s a HUGE price difference in the 5g and 1oz (over $100 difference). Also, want to point out it did say “new formula” on the pkg and looks absolutely nothing like older pictures. But, still works, at least for me. Will def order again, but will be ordering at least 2-3, since there’s not much at all in the package.
