This listing is only for the bare e-ink display and does not include any driver or interface PCB. I did not pay attention to the details and had to spend additional to get the Waveshare e-paper Driver HAT PCB to get this display working. I was able to find connection details and example code on the Waveshare wiki for the 2.13-inch e-paper display. The example code supports multiple platforms like Raspberry Pi, STM32, Arduino etc. I interfaced the display with an Arduino Uno using SPI bus and the display worked fine. The example code is not polished, but it is also not very complicated if you want to rewrite the library for your own application.The display is white and has very good contrast and a wide viewing angle just as you would expect from a good quality e-ink screen. I was not able to test the partial refresh feature as I needed to dig further into the example code to find its implementation. I have plans to use this display in a low power Time/Weather clock project.In Summary this display is easy to connect and use, and it has a clear and crisp resolution of 250x122 pixels. The display supports partial refresh, which means it can update only a part of the screen without flickering or ghosting. This is great for displaying dynamic content such as weather, time, or notifications. The display also has extremely low power consumption and can retain the image even when the power is off. The display comes without a PCB, so you need to use a driver board. The documentation and examples are available on the Waveshare website. Overall, this is a great display for projects that require a small and low-power screen.

THis e-ink display works well, it took me a while to get to the project I was using it on. The screen update time isnt bad, it works well. The display isnt large, but perfect for a few lines of text. The dispaly looks good and the text is fairly clear. Im still working on getting things displayed so im not sure how much of that is me. It works well though and I am happy with my display.

C'est un petit écran noir et blanc E-Ink destiné à être utilisé avec le module ESP32 driver board correspondant de la même marque.En effet, /!\ vous ne pourrez pas relier ça à n'importe quel micro, sans avoir de quoi brancher la nappe /!\. Pareil ce modèle n'est pas compatible netatmo (si certains l'achetaient pour cet usage).Si vous avez ce qu'il faut, vous aurez certainement le savoir faire pour l'utiliser avec un autre micro.Sinon avec la driver board c'est aussi simple que:- brancher (attention à la nappe et au connecteur, il faut lever le loquet puis refermer, regardez comment c'est fichu sur la nappe d'extension)- d'installer le driver de la puce usb série ch343- mettre la bonne configuration de l'ide arduino avec les bonnes ressources (suivre la doc à la lettre sinon gare)- compiler et uploader l'exempleFonctionne sans aucun souci, attention à la nappe bien entendu.Par mal pour un petit projet DIY d'écran déporté, capteur etc. Très lisible dans la pénombre (eink non rétro éclairée), et bonne définition.Recommandé.

This ePaper isn't great compared to others available. For some reason, the white is really quite gray and the resulting image looks fairly unimpressive - much like the original old Amazon Kindle devices - a long way short of even the 2.7 inch part purchased from WaveShare at the same time and not as clear or sharp as the 2.13 inch colour, despite this part having a stated higher resolution.

Aucune réaction de l'écran hormis une petite activité au démarrage dans le coin inférieur droit en dehors de la zone utile. L'ancien écran clignote entièrement à cette étape.
