Such a backsaver! Everyone doing drywall needs this
I recently used this drywall lift tool for a home renovation project, and I couldn’t be more impressed by how much it simplified the job. Installing drywall on the ceiling or along the top of a wall used to be a two-person task, if not more. With this tool, I was able to position and hold large drywall sheets securely overhead without needing an extra set of hands. That made the entire process more efficient and saved both my back and my patience. Assembly was quick and intuitive, and the folding design is a game-changer for storage. When I didn’t need it, the tool folded up neatly so it wasn’t constantly underfoot or taking up valuable workspace. The construction felt sturdy and stable, giving me the confidence to work safely and effectively. Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or tackling your first major drywall project, this tool is a smart investment.

Does the job… with a little creativity
Firstly, it works and is very well constructed for its purpose - not a iPhone in exacting fit, but exactly what is needed for this sort of tool. This is simple (heavy ish) to assemble, in all but one point. The cable that does the work has not clear way to securely hold in place. We ended up feeding through the hole as pics show, but then made a sort of too and fro between the spokes of the hand wheel, then clamped it there. Not exactly great. Last, if you’re reading this far, you need or want one. Buy it, and be prepared to work with the minor short coming of cable securing (good small C clamp).

Excellent for Ceilings
This product has helped me DIY my ceiling with sheetrock. It was the perfect second and third man holding the sheets in place while it screwed them in. I also have a 18ft valted ceiling and it worked perfectly on the angles. Only reason it's not a 5 star is it has a glitch when winding up past a certain point where it appears the cable catches on something in he mechanism and it slips and settles then it's fine from there, but it has almost caused a sheet of drywall to fall off when I was putting it up on an angled ceiling. Outside of that I can't complain, it works great.

Save your back!
I just drywalled my entire house with 9 foot ceilings. There is no way I could have lifted the 50 pound drywall panels into place. I also used it to put the drywall onto the angled cealings too. Easy to set up and easy to use. It worked great and was super sturdy. It saved me a lot of money rather than buying one from one of the builder's stores at three times the cost of this one. It looked and worked exactly as the one from the builders store.

Would not comment
A piece of junk. The instructions must have been written by a child. Pieces are damaged and it won’t stand upright. I would not recommend. If you got this lift to work congratulations!

very good value good quality
im impressed for the price its great, I don’t think you would want to use it in a commercial setting every day but I think if you’re gonna put up your own sheet rock in a house or in the garage. It’ll be just fine. It’s actually quite sturdy.

Worked great for my project
Assembly Instructions were lacking but thankfully it's pretty straightforward. Only used it for a day to lift these faux beams up but it did it without an issue. Guess I'll store it away until the next project.

It lifts drywall, also fun for role-playing that you're a pirate
The setup instructions seemed to imply it comes more assembled than it does. It's not hard to put together but the instructions are more useable as a fire starter. Mine came dented and all bent up, the instructions don't mention needing to use a mallet to whack things into place so that the bolts can go through (sadly another omission). The wheel that raises and lowers the cradle was crazy bent up, its kind of fun using it like a wobbly wheel on a pirate ship. Occasionally it makes this loud creaking sound and you wonder if the whole thing will come crashing down, also not unlike a pirate ship. The wheels/casters are pretty bad, and also like an old wooden ship it creaks around a lot when you move it. It does lift heavy sheets of drywall really high as advertised. Verdict: terrible "instructions" aside the real fault here is that it doesn't come in black and include a jolly roger flag to complete the experience. If you're looking to hang a few sheets and sail the high seas of drywall piracy it'll get the job done. If I had to use this thing daily though I'd probably walk the plank.
