Digital Kitchen Timer, Magnetic Large Display for Cooking & Classroom

This timer is efficient, simple to use, and reasonably priced. The two magnets on the back hold it firmly in place on my stove's black hood, and I love how the timer blends in. The timer can of course be taken off and placed on the counter, or just about anywhere else. There's even a nifty little hook (folds down into the back side if not in use) if you choose to hang it on a narrow peg or something. The numbers on the display are easy to see. I can see them clearly from above the stove to where I often sit, 30 feet away in the living room. There are three volume settings - two are audible and the third is no sound. When the timer goes off I can clearly hear the lower beeping sound from 30 feet away, but if the TV is on I prefer it on the higher setting. The only change I would make for this timer is for it to be rechargeable instead of battery powered (runs on three AAA batteries which were included), but that doesn't take away from this being a 5-star timer, in my opinion. It seems to be nice quality - time and use will tell how long it lasts.

This magnetic timer is excellent! I like that I can stick it on the fridge or on a flat surface. It is easy to use and is very accurate. The large numbers are easy to see , even at a distance, day or night!

An additional timer for a whiteboard, it’s a good substitute when multiple timers are needed. Perfect addition to a classroom for timed assignments.

Pros: Large, highly visible numbers that can be seen from across the room. Very simple operation. Timer alarm is loud enough to hear in the next room but not annoyingly loud. Volume seems just right. Easy to use the fold out stand. Strong magnet keeps it positioned on metal surface without sliding down. The buttons are large and high quality. I bought one for my kitchen cooking timer. Liked it so much I bought a second one as a workout timer for my home gym.

I have been looking for a timer like this for my weight room for some time now. It's easy to use, shuts down after use, thus saving battery power and can be seen from anywhere in the room. The screen can be dimmed and the sound can be reduced or muted. You won't be disappointed.

As a teacher, I purchased this to help me setting time limits in the classroom. I am very pleased with this purchase! * I can keep it on my desk (it's got a sturdy kickstand), or hang it from the whiteboard / chalkboard (strong magnet). * It's the perfect size of not being too big to carry around, but students can still see it from the back of the class. * Very easy to set the countdown, and to adjust the volume (3 levels). The numbers blink when an alarm is up, which means it still gets your attention when the volume is muted.

This time is great. It is as easy as pie to set. The face is bright and highly visible, but can be dimmed if you prefer to save the batteries. The most valuable feature for me personally is the ability to pause the timer -- and then restart it without resetting the original start time. Great for determining the overall accumulated time for certain tasks. Only one feature that I wish it had: the ability to keep track of more than one timeline. I frequently have more than one task or job i'm timing. Guess I'll have to buy another one!
