I bought this transmitter at the beginning of March, and got it on the 8th. Hooked it up to transmit my work computer to a 24 inch TV I got and it immediately fired up! Easy to install and everything. Then after one week, it stopped either transmitting or receiving the image from the computer. I reset, re-paired, and even left the products disconnected over the weekend and tried again. All I get is the instructions screen from the receiver and that's it. No pairing message, no not connected message, nothing. Tried reaching out to the company through the website and the email provided on the instructions, the email came back to me saying the email doesn't exist. I can't say it's a waste of money, cause it was great when it worked, then it stopped working. Definitely gonna ask for a refund if I'm not to late. UPDATE: I was contacted by one of their reps about the issue. They informed me the transmitter is only meant to be run 4-5 hours. I work 10-13 hour days 5 days a week. They did offer me a brand new set at no cost and after learning it's limitations they suggested I buy a second transmitter and switch them out after so often. As a mechanic I can't take 10 minutes away from my time to switch a transmitter and reconnect the devices. That's not fair to the customers I'm servicing. So if you plan on using this to show some kind of long Livestream or you work long hours like I do, I'd suggest a different, and stronger product.

The manufacturer shows the Wireless HDMI link being used for remote display of your laptop screen, in a small form figure for easy use on the go. I needed a Wireless HDMI to allow my living room tv to connect to new Xfinity set top boxes. My existing setup came with the house, uses component video or RGB over 3 cables from over the fire place, under the floor, and up the wall to a coat closet on the opposite wall. It was installed about 14 years ago by the original owner. I did not want to deal with pulling that 30-40 foot HDMI cable up and down 2 walls and under the floor. This also meant that wireless HDMI would be turned on and operating 24/7-365. I had searched previously and really found nothing at a reasonable price. The AIMIBO wireless HDMI looked too good to be true. It takes about 10 minutes to install. And then when I applied power to the transmitter, the last step, it started it's "pairing" with the receiver automatically. And within about 15 seconds the HDMI link was completed and I had a picture on the TV. It was the FIRST plug and play product I have ever bought that actually did. I had seen reviews complaining about the high temperature of the transmitter, so I was prepared to add a short, 1.5 foot HDMI cable extension, to the set top box, and dangled the transmitter over the equipment shelf to get it away from the hot electronics. (See photo) I should warn you about a feature, not a bug. Mostly only during the day, when other 5gHz WiFi devices are being used in the house, the picture might drop out for 1-2 seconds every hour or so. It then immediately reconnects. In the evening, when nothing else is using the WiFi, this seldom happens. Whenever you use a statistically shared transmission system like WiFi to carry a continuous streaming signal source, there will be random times when more user signals want to be transmitted than the capacity of the system. Most WiFi signals can wait for the congestion to go away and then continue transmitting. Your emails for instance Don't Care. Voice circuits will make some noise. Video is just more obvious. But it doesn't really effect your reception and enjoyment. It is a great device that solved a real problem for me.

When it works the ability to send a PC HDMI signal to a TV is remarkable. I have had some sporadic issues with mouse and audio lag. Overall it has been a good tool for sending the signal without the need for long cable runs. I purchased 4 of these devices and 1 died after 6 months. Support has been very responsive and assisting with a replacement.

Super easy to install! We connected it to our PC and TV, and the setup was incredibly simple. We've tried several wireless transmitters over the years, and this one has been the easiest by far. It's been working perfectly, and I'll definitely be buying another one for my second PC.

It was great while it lasted. I finally got a transmitter that worked for my Windows machine and my Mac. Unfortunately, after 4 months, the Reciever stopped revieving. I tried all the normal troubleshooting steps, unplugged/replugged and tried to re-pair the devices. Following the instructions, I held down the receiver and waited for the notice to release the button. The TV went to "no signal" and I still held down the button for another 5 minutes to nothing. I unplugged the device completely , waited 5 minutes, plugged in the atenna / power first, then the HDMI and held down the button. Still no signal. The button did feel weird to me, to I took the device off and checked it out, the button was disconnected from the housing and could be easily moved around and manipulated, but no feel of a button. Its upsetting when you pay $130 for a device and it just craps out.

I did have an issue with ONE of the 3 units i purchased. I used amazons 'replacement' method, and the SAME DAY i shipped the defective (won't pair) Blue unit back i also received the Replacement Blue, which worked fine. :) I ordered a unit of each color to keep track of these in my home. Red, Grey, and Blue. Red and Green came in and worked great from the start, pre-paired, awesome! The Blue one would just Blink-and-blink-forever, because the receiver would not pair to anything new until it got replaced. These receivers Language defaults to English, Awesome! Screen transmission delay.. well somewhere around 120ms. (or in layman's terms 0.12 second. ). This is FINE for turn based games, or watching tv/movies/youtube. The max resolution I've been able to set these to is 1920x1080 on my ultrawide OLED screen (which itself has no more then a 1ms delay (or 0.001 second delay). On LCD and other screen types, you will start to FEEL the delay substantially if your playing action games or racing, fighting, sport games. For people needing your 90fps+ for call of duty, from a wireless hdmi transmission, your going to be disappointed even if you -get- your fps up to 90+.. because you will feel like there is input delay... its really Output delay as the visual feedback is 'late'... I however bought 3 of these, because i need them to look in on 2 server machines in the basement, without running wires up from the floor. And a steam deck, for turn-based games when im on the go at hotels. These things are pricey, but awesome for my use-case. Don't buy these if you're a FPS gamer, and you'll stay happy. I recommend these to Everyone else.

This works well as a wireless HDMI cable. Any HDMI source can be connected to the transmitter, then any HD TV/monitor or projector with HDMi port can display the source with the receiver connected to the HDMI input. A perfect wireless HDMI cable without having to hide 160 feet of HDMI cable across the room. For gaming, one can connect to a big screen TV or projected on the Wall with a projector. The picture quality is excellent in real time, without any lag in video. A movie player can be connected wirelessly then one could watch a movie on an big screen TV or projected on the wall, the picture clarity is excellent, with no issues. With the transmitter plugged into the computer, there is no issues with all paid subscription services, all display with excellent picture quality. It will also work with any streaming console. It is possible to Mirror an Android or IOS phone with 2G5 or 5G WI-FI. Once the Receiver HOTSPOT is connected to the phone, then in Android using Smartview and IOS using Screen Mirroring. There is a blank screen mirroring subscription paid services, due to a function of the phone's operating system, not the receiver. The phone mirroring is with excellent picture quality. As an 1080P wireless HDMI cable, I connected the transmitter to a player from one room then in a far room about 110 feet away, between 2 walls, connected the receiver, to an HD TV, played a movie, 90 minutes of continuous playing there is no visual buffering or synchronization problems with the audio, the movie played to the end producing excellent picture quality. I recommend this for its picture quality and the many uses, with endless possibilities.
