Nice product!
After a buddy of mine told me about the plastic bushings for the shift linkage, I bought a couple of these to keep in my Jeep's tool box for insurance.

Worked for my 08 wrangler
Old bushing blew out, found this one. Installed in 5 minutes with a screwdriver. Been working great ever since.

Direct fit
Simple fix. Direct fit. Others stated needing to warm up before installing but I didn’t need to.

Good to have around
These appear to be identical in manufacture to the OEM parts. Though the material the OEM bushings are made of are known to fail with age and use, replacement is not too difficult, even on the trail (if you don't mind burnt forearms). At this price it's worth the piece of mind to keep one in the glove box.

Bad description, poor product
The product looks nothing like the picture. The version that I received was more of a clear plastic than was too fat in diameter. Trying to get it in the insert tab broke

Buy it even as just a spare!
A few weeks ago my Automatic shifter bushing went out on the trail. It is very similar to this one for the transfer case. I should have just bought a few then and replaced them all on my 2007 JKR but... Three weeks later I get to the trail and go to put in in 4WD and the shifter is just flopping around. Sigh, this bushing under the console had given up. So, I ordered four of them and replaced both the transfer case bushing and the shifter bushing and have a couple of spares. Too cheap not to keep extra. I'm hoping these are of a more robust material but time will tell. And as mentioned by others, put it on the cable end first! I found a little soapy water helped.
