But when it arrived the manual that comes with it said +/- 2%, so that was a bit disappointing.Having just had a doctor appointment less than a week before getting this, I had a dissolved oxygen level reading of 99% at that time. When I first tried this unit, after getting home from a lengthy bike, I could only get a 97% or 98% reading, and I was wondering about the accuracy. But when I used it later, in a more rested state, I got a 99% reading, so I’m satisfied with the accuracy.

This is a great little device. It uses 2 AAA batteries so no need to buy special batteries. Easy to use and it turns itself off. When you remove your finger, it displays "finger out" and then turns itself off. It does not take long to get a reading. Easy to clean and sanitize. It comes with a rubber protector shroud, a lanyard and a canvas carrying case which may be handy for those who want portability. A must have for your gym kit or asthma kit! Very happy with this product.
