A partial moth solution
So far these things seem to be helping, but I still have moths

These do work, but, not in large areas. Still have some in flight we have to manually remove.
There were many to choose from, I chose this one, not sure why anymore, I think they need to be used in smaller area / room sizes though. A few dead moths seen in the hanging trap, but, we have removed many more ourselves from the air, that the traps did not help with. Some stickiness noticed when hanging. They are easy to use, just know they will work better in a small area over larger area. Commercially purchased millet & pellets do not hatch moths, I purchase from our preferred pet/food source and these are fresh without any chemical processing or treated with anything to prevent the moths from hatching. Don't like knowing I'll have moths, but the food is just so much better for our birds. To be fair, our room size where our parrot and 2 budgies are, is quite a large area. We hung 2 trap, both sides of room. Safe for the birds not harmful to them, hung higher near ceiling to keep away from our parrots investigation of new things. No odor and the value for cost was good, probably one of the reasons I chose this product over others

In a word? Impressive.
I would give an extra star or two if I could. Wow. We thought we had a couple of moths show up... Then we pulled the backing off the bait and the effect was immediate, 20 to 30 swarmed around the trap seemingly out of nowhere, in two days it was full and replaced. I don't know which bird food brought them in, but this took them out, and fast. We ordered another batch to have them to be ready for next time. And don't worry about the birds, the food was tossed and replaced.

They work on seed moths. A must have for bird keepers.
These started working instantly! Best purchase I've made. I have 16 parrots total and the moths got out of hand this year. I hope they keep working!

Really helped to control moths
I had never in my life experienced an outbreak of moths in any home I ever lived in. At first, I thought a month or two and just come in from the outside or from the balcony area. Then, I started seeing them in increasingly large numbers. I purchased these moth traps along with two other similar ones. It took a while, but thanks to the combination of traps I used I eliminated the problem. I still keep a couple of traps around just in case, and they also catch smaller insects like gnats and small flies. I will order them again if the need arises, although I hope I never see another outbreak as it becomes a real nuisance.

Excellent non-poisonous monitor for the presence of India meal moths
MaxGuard Birdseed Pantry Moth Traps with Extra Strength Pheromones is the perfect canary in the coal mine test to see if you have an active pantry or bird seed moth infestation. Especially if you have pets and don't want to spread poison everywhere. People say "they don't work"... but they DO work as they are intended... both as a monitor and to trap male moths. They will NOT kill moths (except the males who are attracted to the pheromones, and get stuck and die). Less males means less fertilization of the female's eggs and the females lay hundreds of eggs a day! Use these to detect the presence of the India Meal Moth especially after you have thoroughly cleaned your cupboards, even carpets! In addition to the traps I used a battery-operated manual bug zapper shaped like a tennis racket and by running it across my carpets & fabrics I found the tiny maggot form of the moth crawling in my carpet and zapped them daily to help break the cycle. I also removed everything from my cupboards and washed them. I put nuts into baggies... later I found moths had hatched in the closed baggie! Nasty buggers! The female will lay eggs everywhere, in anything with a texture. On my crocheted throws, in pet bedding, on towels. These should all be laundered. They are insidious! These non-toxic pheromone traps let you know how successful you've been in reducing the population. It's not going to be quick and easy to get rid of these moths because the moths breed like wildfire & these traps let you know how successful you've been.

Traps a lot of moths
It works. I had a ton of moths flying out of my bird seed container. I put one of these in. By the next morning it was absolutely full.

Better Brands out There
I have a moth problem in my house coming in with my dad's pet budgie bird seed. For the longest time i was using another brand that seemed to work well, but I never was able to completely control the problem. I started experimenting with different brands of moth catchers, but i have to say this particular brand WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST one I tried. Not a single moth caught using multiple traps, in different locations. At first I thought maybe i did not apply the bait, as this is a separate process for other traps, nope, they claim the bait is integrated in this trap. It's possible i got a defective trap? I'm not going to waste my money to see if this was the case. My opinion, stay away get ANY other brand as they will likely work 100% better than this one.
