This book blew my mind!
Agatha Christie did NOT disappoint! This book woke me up from my reading slump and my endless scrolling, see if I had to keep down my insta and tiktok for reading this without compelling myself then it is a universal sign to say that this book is awesome!Ok, I might be biased because I fell in love with reading because of Christie, but let me tell you "Murder on the Orient Express" is surely one of the best detective novels I have ever read. Each chapter was compelling, Poirot (internal screaming) did it again in this thriller he worked his little grey cells to solve this one hell of a mystery.Poirot was on his way back to NY when the train suddenly came to a halt, the train is now not just halted but a murder has taken place. 12 passengers, each of whom has a strong alibi and equally a good reason to be a suspect. Who killed him? this rich man named Samuel Ratchett. This novel takes its readers through different characters through the eyes of Hercule Poirot himself, though being a reader in our generation, understanding some of Christie's words may be confusing it is not difficult, I loved how she incorporated humor and life into her story.Having more than 10 characters in one story some authors might generalize thier characters but Christie gave each character in her book a unique voice and character, which I really admire.I have a lot to say about the book, but unfortunately it's gonna have spoilers in it so I'll leave it up to you to read it, you should..... really!
