A lovely new welcome 2024 update
(Slight tldr pros and cons below) Iโve had the first gen since 2018 and when I saw the second gen I just had to get them and put old reliable in retirement. As of first getting the gen 2 and writing this review I have loved the 2 gen. Both comfortable and light as well as decent color selection but itโs easier if I do pros and cons Pros 1. Super durable I have twisted them and put them to the test just like my first and still retained itโs shape and no signs of cracks anywhere 2. Comfortability I have worn these headsets for hours on in and I can say for sure it feels like Iโm not even wearing them but still feel really secure to my head 3. Easy to clean (canโt say how easy since I have no need to clean them yet other than hair 4. Price I mean you canโt beat a good durable headset for 40-60$ 5. Compatibility works great on my PC, Xbox and my switch but I hardly use headphones for the switch anyways And now onto some cons 1. The headphone jack (atleast for gen 1) is like playing Russian roulette could work up to a year or break next month most notably the audio slider could have it all the way up and only one ear has audio slightly bring it down and both work (recommend getting spare cords Amazon does sell them) 2. Lack of options (more a personal attack) wish there were options for no mics or wireless since I use a different mic for talking And lastly mixed opinion is the audio some say itโs best for single player. I play a lot of games that sound is key such as escape from Tarkov, day z and so on. I personally have not faced such an issue where this headset would struggle I could still pinpoint where gunfire and explosion happen no matter how chaotic with both gen 1 and 2 As of now this is all I can think of Iโll update as I go on but for now I recommend this headset with a just the acceptation of being prepared to buy spare audio cables for the headset. Edit 5/1/24 Wow almost two years and the headset is still going strong i have put ALOT of abuse on the headset so what are my thoughts on it now ? Well the audio slider has given out id say about 9 months in upon purchase but its minor being a small adjustment its working as intended, now onto the cleaning still just as easy just pull the ear muffs off and hand wash let it air dry and continue on. durability still on par as Gen 1 thanks to a nephew they can be thrown off the porch hitting objects such as cars and a tree and still work after plugging back in. Though have notice after some time it will hold what ever bend you put on it BUT it still will not crack or break so yea it was and still is worth every penny.

Initial Thoughts: Good!
Extremely comfortable, especially if your ears are small like mine. The material is soft and creates a mildly-snug cuff around your ears. That seems to be the main aspect of "noise canceling", it's nice if you want to be immersed in your game or music, though it can be a bit funny on calls... Your own talking creates a bit of an "echo" in your own head, and your can hear your own mouth sounds! I'm not very bothered by it, it's not a distraction when you're playing games. But I take the left headphone off slightly if I'm on a casual call. Otherwise I get to loud from not hearing myself. The surround sound isn't professional but works, footsteps in games are discernable and you get a basic sense of direction. I want to mention again... They're so soft! Perfect for my sensory issues. the fit secure. I bought this with a 2-year warranty, I'll be reporting back if I ever need to use it / my headphones start to break.

Defective and barely works
Microphone fell apart not an hour after using and I have to use ducktape on it to try and keep it on just to use it. Not worth anything near the money spent on it

Durability
Bought back in 2022, came back to say thank-you. Super Durable, comfortable with glasses, mixed feelings on the audio quality but for the price you can't really complain. lasted me a good ~3 years. would recommend as a budget-friendly or as a starter headset.

Best Headset Of 2026
These are the best headphones Iโve personally ever bought and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a headset that wonโt run them several hundreds of dollars.

Microphone Does Not Function, useful otherwise
Excellent sound quality, very comfortable, but Microphone does not function, full stop. It may as well be vestigial. Highly recommend you pair these with a cheap USB mic, as the one attached does not work.

Great for the Money!
Iโve spent thousands on headsets over the years from different products like Turtle Beach, Astro, Beats by Dre etcโฆ Iโve owned the Astro A50โs and after 3 1/2 years of owning them they finally gave out and I didnโt want to spend another $300 on something that I can only use on one particular console.. I went the cheap route and went with the A10โs and Iโm glad I did! The quality is there! The noise canceling is good! Theyโre comfortable and so far if these were to break Iโd have no problem in buying another pair. Only downside is the headphones donโt really fit your ears fully like the A50โs did.. The ear cups donโt fold to lay on your neck when you remove them and also there isnโt any voice feedback to be able to hear yourself better but all in all those little features I can sacrifice because you literally get what you pay for but itโs worth every penny if youโre an average gamer and just want to comfortably play and be able to chat with friends for a few hours!

Great headset
I had the older model A10s when I saw these and I instantly bought it I have been using them for a couple month now and I gotta say these are far better than the old model there have more clean sound, lighter, and the cushioning around the ear is far more softer so your ears donโt hurt as mush after long gaming sessions. Iโve also have had no problems with the mic The only problem I have is that itโs not the friendly for big heads these ones just barely fit my head on the last setting but they are still a great headset and donโt see myself switching to any other Astro headsets for awhile or at least until these ones die or break than Iโll be back looking for more astros

Good for price
Itโs a headset that works. Worth the price and sound is great. Mic quality is alright. I use an external mic so donโt care much.

Better than expected
I was in the market for a new gaming headset but wired, since my current expensive wireless ones only lasted a few month before breaking. I am always careful with my things, so when they broke I was very suprised and disappointed in the quality. When I saw the ASTRO A10 headset and how it's made to be more durable, I had to try it. It's only been a few weeks so far but these are some pros and cons I've noticed. PROS: -Durability and movement -Good audio quality (could go a bit louder but that could just be my personal preference) -Stylish and adjustable -Inline audio control makes for quick and easy volume adjustments CONS: -Only 1 audio control. Would be nice to control game and chat separately. -The foam ear covers are comfy, but on the smaller size. Conclusion: If you're looking for a gaming headset that is sub $100 I would recommend these. If anything changes, I will update.
