The key is a little flimsy, but what do you expect for the price. For the complaining about the special hole saw with the flat spots, get a smaller router and drag it 1/8" up or down. That's how you get a hole saw to have 2 flats.

Operation is good, install was difficult
Easy wiring and labeled great. Key operation is easy.This has flats machined in on sides so it’s difficult to get proper hole with flats to match.Also it is all metal but the one outer “chrome” nut that secures it is plastic. Over-tighten and it will easily break.

Not good
The mechanism seemed to work fine but the threads on the casing are too soft. The nut that holds the switch in, will not tighten up. I the the two I ordered I in the trash. Money lost.

PLASTIC CHROME CAP AND IT'S SMALLER THAN ANTICIPATED
It's smaller than it looks and there were no measurements to be found in the description when purchased. The steel securing nut is weak, the pot-metal threads are junk and the plastic cap is chromed plastic. I might use these some day but they will never go on a tractor, lawnmower or vehicle with any expectation of lasting... nice price though.
