Can't recommend this enough it keeps my machine happy and my espresso tasty!

Way better than using my extreme mountain tap water. Helps take the bitterness of my coffee away.

I tried Third Wave Water with a fair amount of skepticism. It’s not that I didnt believe that it would make much better coffee than tap water if you live somewhere with super hard or poor quality water, but ours is neither of those, and is quite good. I was very surprised when I tried my first couple of shots of espresso made with TWW. It’s a lot “smoother” than espresso made with straight tap water, and the flavor is more “expansive”; passing along the nuances of flavor of the different kinds of beans that I brew with. It also seems to have made my shots a little more “permissive” when I don’t do everything as consistently as I can. You can tell for instance if the shot is over or under brewed, but the end drink is still much smoother than if regular tap water was used. I recommend this product, especially for espresso, but it might get a little pricey if you drink a lot of coffee. My first gallon of water lasted a little more than a week pulling 2-4 double shots/day.

I use this in combination with RO water and no longer need to descale my machine, with the added benefit of improving the taste of my espresso!

Our water is ok, but I noticed a big difference in the smoothnes of coffee brewed in my Keurig using this. There was absolutely no bitterness or discernible acid. Especially with dark roast coffee. I literally could not control my acid reflux until I used third wave water. On the minus side, I also enjoy a lot of flavored coffee and the flavors just did not stand out with this. Since I use a Keurig, I bought the espresso formula as that is what was recommended, so that could be the cause of that. I’m not sure if I will buy it again, but I will definitely use what I have left for guests when I want to impress them with a delicious cup of coffee!

Easy to use and effective.

I just made the best tasting home espresso ever ! Same beans, settings, machine. This Third Wave Water made a noticeable difference. ( You must use distilled or reverse osmosis water). As South Florida has the second worst tasting water in the U.S. (very hard), I was actually shocked this made such a difference. I have always used a good reverse osmosis machine (Bluevua Lite), but never experienced this sort of difference. Wish I could give it 6 or more stars. Buy with confidence. ( I stupidly let this sit quite a while before using, don't be like me.). Enjoy !! Update: At the risk of being honest to sound somewhat idiotic, I realize I did tamp more. I have a very heavy distributor that was touted as a combination tamper, and I'm realizing maybe it only tamps the upper area of the puck...So, I made another shot without the additional tamp and it wasn't quite as good. Still better, but only one or two wows. Sill worthwhile. Ordering another better, straight tamper.

We’ve been using bottled water for one machine, plumbed in filter for the other but still didn’t feel we were controlling the exact balance of hardness/ph levels etc. Now with an RO system and these sachets I feel really confident. I worked out the exact ratio of sachet to water for my machines. Now the shots taste even better than before (if that was even possible!)

Saw this product on Shark Tank - the sharks said nobody would ever buy jugs of distilled water and put this powder into it just to put into their coffee machine - they were wrong. I have this product on auto order, I buy gallons of distilled water and have been doing it for years. The coffee is less acidic and less bitter, and far more flavourful. Moreover, whenever someone new comes over they always comment about how the coffee is incredible and ask what coffee I'm buying. They leave with 1 jug of distilled water and 1 sachet of the powder and almost every time, they have also become a regular buyer and user. I should really get a commission by now lol My only gripe is the cost - it is pretty expensive given what you get But otherwise it works as advertised, makes the coffee delicious, and even unknowing guests comment about the coffee until I tell them the secret. If you want to try and make your coffee better - this is the thing.

I've always used an under sink filtration/ion exchange system however when the filter prices almost doubled recently I decided to seek other options. I add one of these packets to a gallon of distilled water. I did notice a slightly stronger taste, in a good way. Almost like my filtration system was muting the flavours slightly. I'm finding this way to be more economical than my old system and will likely stick with it.

Yes, it does makes coffee flavor better. Yet, it's too expensive for every day use.
