Hiboom 24 Pieces 2.8mm HB Refill for Carpenter Pencils, Black

Awesome regills

I build model railroad professionally for AffordableModelRailroads.com and these work in our marking pencils just fine

Needed it .

Good quality, white lead marks well on most textured surfaces , but marks poorly on very smooth surfaces.

Black seems the standard with the comparatively inexpensive versions of these pencils. The white may work on dark lumber but I tried it on dark painted metal and nothing. You can kinda see a mark but defiantly not a bold mark. For that, I think the marker type would be better. Interestingly , though very well packaged, the white were the only packages with broken “leads”. My guess is that shows how hard they are compared to the black. So black ok, white for anything but perhaps wood, disappointed . Had to try though, only way to tell.

Hard to find the blue hard to find that shade of green and the pencil lead don’t break as easily as the other ones. They do break and crumble just like all the other ones do but not as often and not as easily. When I run out, I will be buying more.

I have figured the different colors work better on some items over others. the the white works well on metal surfaces, and the Green works better on concrete and stone and the blue works better on wood over the others. these pencils out proformas the chalk for steal , or scratching in rock and much better than a #2 pencil or a mechanical pencil hands down. I currently own 7 of these mainly because i can neve remember where i put them, and never find them until i have finished my project and am cleaning up . I would rather grab one of these pencil over anything else EVER. I hope this helps you make your decision

If you do woodworking these are a must! The white seems to be the best and my husband will be ordering when these are used up. They were a very thoughtful gift and a perfect stocking stuffer for the dad who has everything!

I bought these pencil leads to see if they fit in the tracer pencil and they fit perfect. Not much more to say about it except value for money

No están mal. Ya las he utilizado antes. Van bien
