Buy the "red" instead
I now prefer the original "red" model. The lumens are better but the over-all product seems more old-time-china-construction (more likely to break due to cheaper parts and materials). The magnet has less strength than original "red."I downgraded my opinion after 4 months of use. This newer yellow version is "ok." The on button is a pain at time compared to the original "red" light version. The yellow version light makes it difficult to press the odd shaped on/off switch. If lumens are your goal this light is good. For all other reasons buy the ponvey original red version:https://www.amazon.com/Ponvey-Portable-Magnetic-Flashlight-Hanging/dp/B01AUGGP8O/ref=pd_sbs_60_1?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01AUGGP8O&pd_rd_r=deed454d-bc05-11e8-951a-bffc31d64799&pd_rd_w=p7PrV&pd_rd_wg=yHwhW&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=0bb14103-7f67-4c21-9b0b-31f42dc047e7&pf_rd_r=Q5QTH8AZRJQ6WD4MB0HS&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=Q5QTH8AZRJQ6WD4MB0HS

Bright lights, read on.
This is a good backup flashlight if you know what you are doing. I bought it to give to my mom, but found out that it was more difficult to install the batteries than the usual. You have to remove the screws which was a pain even for me who is a tech. Who wants to be having frustration with a light when you need it most?Bottom line is; this light is Bright and ok for technical persons, but becare full when removing the back to insert the batteries. I still recommend.PS. I feel the three stars is fitting, due to the difficulty with installing the batteries.

Portable lights
These lights are awesome. they have a spotlight on the top and a bigger light on the front. You can hang them from the attached hook or mount them to metal using the attached magnet. They also have a little built in stand. The size is great for storing in case of emergence. I leave on attached to the side of my fridge using the magnet. I gave one to my son to keep in his car. Very handle little lights that provide more light than I ever imagined.

Very versatile!
I use one of these lights to illuminate a small closet where I keep my tools as there is no lighting in this space and I didn't want to do any electrical wiring just to illuminate this small area. This was a perfect choice! You can hook it on a nail, or attached it to a metal surface with the magnet at the back. There are two levels of brightness including a built-in flashlight and battery life is extensive with these LED lights.

Perfect simple flashlights for camping
I absolutely love these flashlights for camping. We hang them in our tent with the smallest light on to shine down on the floor. For walking around camp, I like to have the larger light on and hang it front of my shirt-- Iron Man Style. Then on the table it's nice to set the light sideways with the back stand out to light up the table surface. Lastly, the magnet is perfect for sticking one to the side of the car. We just came back from a 4 day camping trip and they batteries lasted the whole time. Before next camping trip, I will buy two more sets.

I got these to use inside my van.
The magnet is very strong and holds them to the ceiling well. However, the batteries run out pretty quickly, and you have to cycle through all 3 settings to turn them off.

Great compact emergency flashlight
Works great, very bright. Will be keeping in my vehicles for emergency situations. Only negative is that the magnet is not strong enough to hold the flashlight when batteries are in it...so basically the magnet is useless.I did not have problems removing the backing to put in batteries like other reviewiers noted. It simply slid off with light pressure. No unscrewing required.

Get What You Pay For
Removing the back cover to access the batteries is far too cumbersome for a flashlight. The light is decent, but not great compared to similar flashlights. I ended up returning them because of the cheap power switch which caused the light to flicker. I'm not rating it lower because one would have to expect a cheap price to yield poor quality.
