Great replacement part. Was able to repair my daughter's laptop that she did not break and has no idea what happened to.

This worked well the first time! Kind of pain getting the old solder off the connections, but once you do, you are home free. This little guy was worth the price and works well.

The product is of good quality. The difficulty is in removing the old one from the Acer Aspire 5 motherboard. Desoldering didn’t work. I dremeled the old one off and then desoldered the pins of the motherboard one at a time. Soldering the new one on was pretty easy. I had trouble with putting on the right amount of solder.

If you know what you are doing with a hot air station, it works. saved a laptop from the trash heap

This installs, fits and functions as expected. The quality seems a bit better than the original. The original part quality is poor so not hard to be better. I was hoping for something even more sturdy but that doesn't appear to exist.
