Work perfectly with Nexel shelving units
These wheel casters work really well on the Nexel 24728N shelves I purchased. I bought two shelving units with two sets of wheels. One of the wheel sets was missing the black donut shaped guard that sits on the wheel. I contacted Amazon and they replaced it.Just make sure you put the donut onto the top of the wheel before pounding into the vertical rod. On one of the wheels I forgot to do that and then had to take the wheel back off, which was a bit of a pain since they fit so tightly (which is a good thing).If you are wondering what the two little black tubes are with writing. They are suppose to be slid onto the top of the vertical post. They don't do anything, they just have a warning about being careful about rolling the shelving units around because they could tip over. I've never had an issue with the units coming anywhere close to tipping over. But you never know what people will try.

Pricy, but the BEST wheels money can buy for sheving
We have hundreds of metal shelf units in our factory and I have a dozen in my basement and garage. I've tried many different brands of wheels and most don't stand up to heavy weight and/or don't roll smoothly on many surfaces. We have never had any of these fail, even when severely overloaded, and they roll smoothly on hard surfaces and carpet. They are pricy, but well worth the cost if you want something that lasts: You Get What You Pay For! They fit most standard wire shelving, including the inexpensive ones we get at Target, Lowes, BJ's...

For tubular post type racks
The shank is 7/8" diameter so these are for the bottom of tubular post type racks or items that have a 7/8" diameter receptacle.

Great for the shelf.
Great for the shelf I purchased. Glad I did it because two balancing pegs were missing with the shelf. Makes relocating the shelf a breeze
