An excellent harness. Quality construction. ***7 Year Update! w/pic***
*** 7 year update *** My pup is no longer the 4 year old fur rocket that she was when I got this vest, but she still uses it every day. The front buckles failed some time ago do to my own stupidity, but I eliminated them as described below and have had to make zero alterations to it since. Not a single fray on any part of the material, this thing is a tank. My dog has helped me survive some crazy times in my life and as weird as it sounds, this vest has been with us most the entire time. It's bizarre to see her outside without it. She no longer needs it on any level, she's old, slow, and never more than a few feet from me even when off the leash- but still she won't walk out of the door without sliding it on. On behalf of myself and my Bella, I want to thank ICEFANG and congratulate them on making something of such high quality. It's exceptionally rare to find any modern product made to endure. *** 4 year update *** This is still used daily, and still in serviceable condition. Both of the front metal clips came apart this year, but I simply stitched the straps to the loops and she puts on the harness like a collar, then we buckle the larger plastic clips on the underside. The only signs of wear after 4 years was those metal clips coming apart. Otherwise, it's still in like-new condition. Amazing product. *** Update on harness 2.5 years after purchase. *** This thing is still going strong and is in daily use by my (now) 95 lbs Malinois. I did make a mistake some months ago by sticking the whole thing in the washer and dryer after an incident where she(dog) went bounding into a swamp in pursuit of a deer while off the leash in a national forest. The vest's metal hardware didn't take being beaten around so well and I had to do some work to keep the vest usable, but I didn't need to purchase anything to get that done. I had to sew some strapping together and rethink how one of the clasps was connected, but overall for two and a half years of very regular use, it's in a condition where I expect it to go another couple of years at least. Quality products are few and far between these days, and I felt it was worth an update to the review as a way of saying thanks for making something that endures. /end update (original review) This harness is for my 80 lb malinois. She has been wearing it daily for the last 6 months, and has never shown any discomfort. While she is normally very well behaved on the leash, there have been instances of close proximity to deer, and other wildlife that trigger in her a prey drive. I am 100% certain that she is tugged as hard as she is capable, and has been unable to break free from the harness. The leash loop, and the buckles appear to be of good quality, and show no signs of wear after 6 months of daily use. I added a few patches, and she gets complimented on the harness almost every time we go out in public. The straps are thick and strong and there's plenty of padding in the right places. Buckles, stitching, top and front leash loops, and attached handle are all made to withstand the forces exerted by an even a large and powerful dog. I found the sizing chart to be very accurate. Medium fits exactly right at 80 lbs with just a little extra strap length to spare into further expansion.

VERY GOOD quality, very pleased.
Having been a K-9 Handler/Trainer for more than 50 years- We are very pleased with the two Tactical Harnesses that we purchased from Amazon and made by ICEFANG. However, I do wish that the side buckles were made from metal like the two front ones are. The plastic buckles do break without warning and this is why professional training harnesses have buckles on them and typically made from leather. In this case the harnesses are for Disability and Assistance, and they do exactly what we expected from them. Additionally a client also ordered one and she is also VERY PLEASED with hers. All are equipped with the stiff handle (from another Mauf'rr) and attached to the top front D-ring. Not quite as good as they would be if attached to the shoulder area on each side, but in these 3 cases it works very well and fulfill the needs of the owners and dogs. Sizing is right on with their charts. We got them in the Small, Medium and 2X-Large sizes to fit adult Belgian Malinois ranging in size from 29lbs to 65lbs to120lbs. I suggest if your dogs measurements differ in sizes than listed in the chart, go with the largest measurement. two examples- Our 29lb female was in the correct chest size, but the neck size was off. We used her neck size and all was good. On the very large male, the larger size was the chest, but the neck measurement was different from the chart. We used the larger chest size to fit the chart. In both cases using the larger size vest worked well. On the medium and more standard sized female Mali the sizing chart was correct and her vest fit perfectly. She is only a year old, and she was close to the next size up, so we got her the next larger size and the fit was still good. That leads me to believe that if anything, the vests may run either true to size or slightly small. The colors are just a tad lighter then what you may expect the listed colors to be, but none of them have faded from the couple of washings they have had so far. YES! I would and DO RECOMMEND these harnesses/vests to others and others have purchased them and no complaints. Using the Velcro or hook and loop style patches there is no need to have to sew and cut loose patches as may be needed (like a K-9 in Training Graduates to a Full Working Service Dog) or Morale patches are changed. Additionally the Molle pouches help carry light weight articles that may be needed by the K-9 or the disabled person such as flashlights, medicine, cellphones and water or soft-drinks. NOTE: Molle pouches are made for easy removal and that is something that you likely DO NOT WANT. When using them on your dog, I suggest that you use the plastic clips that are available or add some additional Velcro to the pouches. You can still remove and replace them with no problem but your dog is far less likely to have them come loose. This is no fault of the vest, Molle pouche design, or the K-9....this is the way they are meant to fit and attach. A little extra care on your part will keep YOU from losing valuables. Again- Great vest and working harness for most any need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! :-)

High quality harness
Got a medium for my female shepherd and it fit perfectly, I love how it looks on her and I love the padding in between the buckles. I normally go for one Tigris and while they’re great I wanted to experiment with something different. It’s very handy that you can tuck in any extra loose ends as well. The reflective vest comes in handy when we take night walks as well, overall a very sturdy and versatile harness as we also use it for biking and light pulling activities.

It's a good harness for my needs
I have a 75 pound Staffy/tree walker coonhound mix, 10 months old for reference. I have the strap adjusted down almost as small as they will go besides around his belly area. I do love that I'm finally able to walk my self appointed sled dog now without being drug down the road like I'm made of paper. my only complaint is that when using the front clip it pulls the harness to the left or right a great deal. I have found this to be an issue with most harnesses though. This one is made well and the clips are really great. I would definitely recommend or buy again for any strong dogs. I'd say it's definitely overkill for smaller dogs or dogs that don't pull really bad. With it being a big bulky harness it won't be comfortable for them to wear for too long and could lead to chaffing under the armpit area.

Tactical dog harness
I got this harness for my dog and have been really happy with it so far. The fit was easy to adjust, and once it was set up, it stayed in place well during walks. The padding is soft and comfortable, and it doesn’t seem to rub or irritate my dog’s skin. I especially like the sturdy metal buckles and the handle on the back, which gives me extra control when needed. The front and back leash attachment points are a nice feature, and the harness feels secure without being overly bulky. The pink color is also really cute and looks exactly as pictured. Overall, this is a well-made harness that offers good comfort, control, and value for the price. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a durable everyday walking harness. Comfort: Well-padded and comfortable for extended wear. Ease of Use: Easy to put on, remove, and adjust. Durability: Feels sturdy with strong stitching and metal buckles. Fit: Adjustable straps allow for a secure, customized fit. Appearance: Cute color and looks exactly as shown in the listing. Control: The handle and front clip provide extra control during walks. Pros: * Sturdy metal buckles * Comfortable padding * Front and back leash clips * Easy to adjust * Attractive color Cons: * May take a few minutes to adjust properly the first time * Slightly bulkier than a basic harness due to the tactical design

Super strong, helps with him pulling, doesnt choke my dog!
I love it! My dog looks so good in it! It helps keep him from pulling. I have a GSD and he’s very strong! The handle at the top helps hold him back if he sees other animals (birds, bunnies, dogs, cats, etc.) where as with just a leash it was a little more difficult. He loves to chew on things and he's definitely chewed on it a bit but still holds up (even with some signs or chewing). I just hope it’s washing machine safe bc it needs to be washed. I also love it for the fact that it doesn’t choke him When he does pull bc he loves to try to chase and run after things (including leaves lol). With his choker collar it chokes him and I wanted a better alternative.

Solid, durable, well worth the money! Updated 2022
Bought this for a Border Collie pup nearing a year old with major anxiety issues, who startles very easily and has a hefty response to perceived threats with barking, lunging, etc (new meds seem to be helping much more than the old ones, so much less of an issue now). The harness is very sturdy, nice and solid manufacture with metal hardware, and the handle makes it so much easier to control her when she flips out. Zero signs of fraying or stress from her hefty fight or flight responses, makes bringing her under control a breeze. Overall very impressed with this harness after going through three other styles that just couldnt hold up to her stress responses. She shows zero signs of discomfort with this harness, even when she wears it for the whole day. It is a touch weighty, and she was hesitant the first few times i went to put it on her after the initial wear, but now she stands calmly while I strap her in before bounding over to the door to wait impatiently while I get her leash. Only thing I could possibly knock about it would be that it seems to run just a hair larger than the measurements would suggest, as I measured her according to the guide provided, she fit just a couple of inches over the minimum size, and I currently have the harness snugged up as far as it will go and it is just a touch loose on her. Not a problem for me, as she is only just now hitting the one year mark and she hasnt been spayed yet, so I have no doubt i will end up letting it out a little in a couple of months. Be prepared to brush down the harness after walks though if your dog likes to roll around like mine does... the velcro does like to collect grass clippings and such! Just buy plenty of patches and the problem goes away! Update: July 1st 2022. More than one year on and this thing is just as solid as the day i got it. My girl demands her harness when she is ready for her morning walk, and then has no interest in any attempt to remove it until her last out of the day. Even when it is a mostly lazy day where she is just laying around the house, she doesnt want her harness removed. It is without a doubt the most comfortable of all the harnesses we tried, the most secure, and the safest. She can be easily controlled when she freaks out, and she looks so smart in it. I came back here because I am going to order a second one now in a lighter color, as this is Oklahoma in summer, and as a predominantly black dog, she does get a bit warm. It will be nice to have options, and while I have seen no sign of any fraying of stitched, loosening of buckles, etc, I am sure swapping between two of them will make these last her lifetime. Never been happier with a purchase. Final update. 8/27/22 Bought the same size in Grey with reflective stitching. This harness has had some design tweaks since my original purchase. The new red tabs on the front buckles are easier to open, almost too easy. Most importantly, the underbelly piece has changed from a single unit to a two piece with adjustability. Its a solid looking update that i cannot knock at all. Great improvement. However, this redesign has increased the size of the harness, meaning the old design that I bought in a medium, that when cinched up as far as possible, fits like a glove and can grow with her, has been replaced with an improved product that no longer fit my dog as it was too loose. Amazon returns arent a hassle, and I'll probably end up just ordering the small now instead, but if a product is updated, the listing should be as well. Just pay close attention to sizing, and assume it will be a little loose now and adjust accordingly. Still 1000% recommend!

Great harness
This is a great harness. Very sturdy. It is nice to be able to hang on to the handle as well as hold the leash. My 90 lb GSD is so much easier to manage with this. Plus it gave me a place to put some of my patches!

Fiquei surpreendida com a qualidade do arnês. O material é muito bom. As fitas ficaram muito grandes no nosso caso. Ela é cruzada de American staffordshire terrier e comprámos o tamanho M

Dog harness
Regrettably article got lost in transit along with velcro bags purchased with it, so cannot form an honest opinion.

Wrong colour, poor quality and amazon listing no longer reflects what I ordered.
Ordered Icefang no - pull harness in medium and in ranger green. Order arrived within specified time frame. Order wrong colour, expecting green, received black. Item picture had two metal bars bracteting the strap on the no - pull D-ring, preventing rotation. Received a harness that had no second bar this allowing full rotation. No braning on any of the straps. Had the Harness under 2 weeks ans the harness is fraying and stiches are pulling. Applied for return.
