Not as bad as people say, but know what you're buying
I was in the same boat as a lot of people, I was looking to label and box up my dozens of gameboy advance games so they can be neatly displayed on a shelf. Unfortunately Nintendo no longer sells the DS cases that include the GBA slot. I went to a few gamestops asking if they were getting rid of any DS cases and was told no. I found these and at first was turned off by the negative reviews. But the 5 pack was really cheap and I have Prime so what the heck I thought. Suffice to say, after getting the 5, I went ahead and bought the pack of 50.Are they as good as official Nintendo DS cases? Absolutely not. The plastic is darker and they are definitely much cheaper. Out of my pack of 50, 2 were broken and had to be thrown out. I figured it was acceptable loss considering the price. But the rest were fine. You just have to be a bit (but not much) more careful opening and closing them. Now as for the major issue people complain of, that the GBA games don't actually fit, that the case will not close once they are in. This is all absolutely true. I bought these knowing that, and part of the reason that I bough the pack of 5 first was to see how easy they were to modify. The answer is that it is very easy to modify these to actually fit GBA games proper. This may be a deal breaker for you and I suppose that is understandable. I used a pair of end snippers that I bought at Home Depot for about 10 bucks and have been using these to modify about a hundred Universal Game Cases to fit my NES games. Other people have different methods. Compared to UGCs, modifying these DS cases are a piece of cake. Literally two snips of the bottom portion of the GBA holder which takes like 10 seconds, and done. GBA game now fits. All in all, I was satisfied with this purchase. But thanks to the negative reviews (which I definitely advise heeding to a certain extent), I had low expectations. My expectations were exceeded and this was a cheap solution to making my game room look a bit more awesome. Shout out to The Covers Project. :)

Not the best quality, but good for the price.
I bought these knowing they would not be the sturdiest cases out there, that the color would be off (DS Cases are a dark gray) and the plastic would easily snap on the inside. Which is exactly what I wanted, as I bought these for cases for old systems like the Sega Game Gear, Atari Lynx, and Game Boy Advance. The plastic is easy to break and mold to work well for the Sega Game Gear cartridges compared to the much sturdier official cases. Lack of any Nintendo branding helps with this as well. It *usually* has a tight enough snap and fit for Lynx carts on top of the DS cart holder. The GBA though. Well... the biggest design flaw rears it’s ugly head with the Game Boy Advance carts. The slot that’s supposed to fit those games natively fits them, but there is a plastic divider that makes it impossible to fit properly until you break it yourself. Once that’s done, it fits fine, but considering the case was meant for DS and GBA, it’s disappointing that it can’t properly fit the latter portable’s games without modification. But even with these issues, and the occasional broken fit lock to close the case upon arrival from time to time (expect 1-2 to be in worse shape than others) they do their job for the price of around $1.30 a piece.

It does it's job for retro handheld collectors
I bought this product not to long ago and I'm okay with it. It does what it supposed to do, hold my DS and Gameboy Advanced games. Some of the cases are of low quality, but I have to remind myself that the DS is no longer a thing. It does not have that same thickness as a true Nintendo DS case with Gameboy holder, but for what it is supposed to do which is hold both my games, it's pretty good. Again I understand cheap production and Nintendo DS cases aren't made anymore so the quality is not great, but for retro collection it serves its purpose pretty good. If you collect GBA and DS this is a definite pick up.

Nice cases for the price
Nice cases for the price. Will not hold Gameboy or GBA games without modifying. There is a piece of plastic that gets in the way if you try to close it. Its easy to modify though. Just use a pair of tin snips and clip out that plastic bar.Overall quality is decent. The plastic is not as nice as a Nintendo case. The biggest thing I don't like as far as quality is that they do not always seem to latch shut as nice as I would like (not that it doesn't work). They are also a little darker in color then a standard NDS case. If you are looking for a way to make your Gameboy Advance games have cases this is probably the best buy you can get though. Head over to the cover project and download so case art and you should be good to go.

Cheap crap
I just received this item today and have to say it is cheap crap. I was expecting at least some quality compared to the normal DS cases but no luck. The cases are very poorly designed. The case will NOT close properly when a GBA game is inserted in it's slot due to a plastic partition coming down right where the game sits. The DS slot has tabs that are on the verge of breaking and very flimsy. There is an opening where you place your finger to remove the DS game but it is on the opposite side of the release tabs, making it impossible to remove the game properly, once inserted. I planned to use these cases to house some of my Virtual Boy games as well. I had read online that DS cases fit Virtual Boy games very comfortably by sliding the VB game into the tabs that hold the manual. The tab broke off with no effort at all when trying to insert the game under these tabs. The case itself is extremely warped and causes the case to not close properly with ANYTHING inserted. Also, the film on the outside that holds the cover art is extremely low grade, almost like cellophane. It feels like Saran Wrap. The film has a bunch of puncture marks right out of the box! I have tested multiple pieces from the same order and they are all the same horrible quality. This is obviously an extremely low-grade, chinese knockoff. It's my fault for buying these as I should have trusted the reviews prior to purchase. Lesson learned. I hope I can help someone else avoid this disaster of a product.
