This set is amazing ! It has easy to understand directions for the beginner users. I have the bag almost complete with only a few minor errors on my part. The yarn is very nice too. It’s soft and easy to work with!!!

This type of yarn is difficult to learn with. It doesn’t stay flat and rolls on the edges. The colors are beautiful and it’s very soft but not suitable for a beginner. I thought it was me and almost gave up trying to learn until I switched yarns.

More easy to use

I wanted to like this so bad, I'm not really a beginner, maybe intermediate. I actually had a project in mind for this yarn, but I just couldn't get the yarn to cooperate (it need to be straight and flat for the particular stitch I wanted to use). The yarn does feel nice and the kit is great. I love the book that comes with it, and that you have plenty of yarn to complete a few projects with it.

This is a really nice kit to gift to someone wanting to learn to crochet. I love the yarn they chose for this project too because it's not a stranded yarn, it's more of a t-shirt fabric that won't unravel while learning. This comes with several small skeins of the yarn, the crochet needs you would need all of the tools you could require and great instructions as well.I definitely recommend this to someone wanting to learn some basic crochet.

It emitted no weird odors or chemical-like smells. No item was missing from the kit.The kit comes in a cardboard box with clear labeling as to what it is and what can be found inside. The hooks are also great having no flaws such as places the yarn would catch up that are not intended. You can choose between the plastic or wooden hook depending on your preference.I feel this kit is excellent for beginners but as a well-seasoned crochet artist, I love it too. I think it's a bargain of a deal for the number of projects you can make with all the yarn and other items that are included.Highly recommended.

My daughter has been wanting to learn how to crochet but I havent got the slightest clue on how to do it though so I found this and it's been great at teaching her. She's 9 and has already started to understand how to do it by reading and following what the book says. Great set for beginners
