Jessup Safety Track 3510 Resilient Non-Slip Safety Tape (Black, 6-Inch x -24-Inch, Pack of 50)

8 years ago we took the carpet floors away (my son has developed an allergy to carpet particles) and put hardwood floors everywhere including stairs.This item is a must-have as an alternative to a broken back or neck if you have to run down hardwood stair with you feet even slightly wet.Almost invisible initially, this item catches dirt eventually that is hard to get out and it needs to be replaced every few years. Peeling off and applying new ones takes just few minutes.My only complain is packaging (One star down) - with a standard 13-step stair the pack of 50 is a waste. You won't be replacing them every year so it's almost 10 years supply and they won't last - they'll dry out and become brittle. I'd prefer the pack 25-26 at most. Unfortunately, for transparent ones I could not find a deal even close to this - in other places the pack of 10 ran almost $50 w/S&h and for 13 steps I'd still need 2 packs.
