Bad purchase, leaks all over floor
Leaks all over floor even if you under fill it. Leaks from bottom corners. Remote is a Lil wonky at times. Not worth it, don't buy it.Update: Continues to leak all over my floor. Its level, underfilled (below the 'Max Fill Line'), and usually requires refilling within a few hours. In fact I just had to change it AGAIN after leaking on the floor and beeping at me. I look to the floor and I see a puddle of water. ON MY CARPETS! Again, very bad purchase, I do NOT recommend this product. Faulty construction for sure. By the way, I have had this product for about two weeks and Its leaked on my floor about five times already. So far, no communication from the Seller has been made.I would give it a 1 out of 10. Dont buy.

Great for my needs
As long as you understand that this is a evaporative cooler, which operates on a different principle then an air conditioner. An evaporative cooler works by adding moisture into dry air. This will never be effective in humid climates. But it works like a dream in dry climates. As an evaporative cooler this is a little on the small side however as a personal unit it is more then effective. It cools my room off very well. Its not going to cool the entire house, it's not designed to. It works beautifully for my needs.

NOT worth the big price tag for what it is, also missing items
There are better products for less money out there. Not only was I missing two of the four promised water bottles, it only came with three of four wheels. Also, it's short and tiny. It says should be grounded, but for most purposes as a fan (it is just a glorified fan), it will need to be elevated to do any work. Don't believe it when it says it'll cool a whole room down- it will help keep anything its pointed at cool- but only if you help the water bottles out with a generous heaping of ice. The water bottles do an alright job of keeping cold water cold- but they will melt in no time without extra ice in the cooler. Also, you can't fully remove the water tank for easy refills. This is an extremely obnoxious oversight in design. I either have to being the entire unit to the sink, or purchase a gallon pitcher. That being said, it does do the job, and if you're desperate in a muggy house waiting for AC repairs, it'll keep you from having a heat stroke. Again, there are just better products out there. The only very tiny benefit this one has over my other water evaporator cooling fan is that the smaller size means transporting is very slightly easier. I'd rather have the other benefits (and all the parts) over this little janky thing, though.

Works really well for cooling, but not great for humidifying
I live in Fresno (yes, on purpose) and our summers get hot! I have a 1300 sq ft condo and can pay over $500 in the summer due to a/c. I only set it up today, but even just with water it cooled down my living room by 5 degrees in an hour. I can only imagine how beneficial it will be when I add ice packs! I bought 2 and plan on putting one in my living room and one in my bedroom. The fan is slightly louder than I'd love, but way less annoying than you see with the swamp coolers in hotels. It just sounds like a fan running (but in all fairness I have it on the highest setting - on the lower setting I was pleasantly surprised). I think my only real issue is I had really wanted more humidity from it. I'm not sure I'd market it as humidifying - I'm sure it adds some moisture, but I was really wanting more like a cool humidifier for my dry eyes and mouth. I'll keep them because they'll help keep the house cool and they're a great value! But unfortunately I'll probably have to still use a humidifier and wanted a one and done kind of thing so slightly disappointed. It does such a great job with cooling I recommended one for my daughter and may buy her one so they're definitely a great option, but if you are looking for real humidity added to a room, I'm not sure this is the best option.

Does not cool a small room down actually make it hotter
I bought this product for the summer to cool my room down the unit did not perform and started leaking after a month You would be better off buying a window air conditioner for a cheaper price

Way over priced
Way over priced. This is just a glorified fan. I pile ice in the water tray fill it with water and it doesn’t seem to blow out cold air at all. All it does is blow out luke warm air. In my opinion this is way over priced for a fan on wheels. That basically what it is, a fan on wheels. I’d probably recommend a hard pass on this unit. Not worth the price. Not even close.

Works great!
So, last summer, we broke several area records for heat (many 108-degree days). We're worried about putting such a heavy load on the air conditioner this summer, so we thought we'd give an evaporative air cooler a try. They use 50% less energy, they don't use freon and they work well in dry, desert environments -- check, check and check. It's still chilly here but we hooked this up to give it a try and it works great. Keep in mind this isn't an air conditioner. It's an evaporative cooler, which means it evaporates water and then blows that cooler air. It's not going to be ice-cold air. In fact, it'll be about as cool as the water you put in, so it isn't going to make a hot room cold, but it can keep a cool room cool. And, by blowing the warm air off of you, it can cool you personally, even if the interior temp doesn't change. This also includes four ice packs you can put in the tank to make the breeze cooler. We liked that there were two ways to add water -- a big tank on the bottom and a smaller tank on the top for quick fills. We also loved that it comes with a remote, which is nice if you're sitting on the couch watching something and don't want to get up. It's not very noisy, either (and there are three fan speeds), so it'll hopefully work for keeping cool at night. So far, so good and we'll see how it performs when the temps get crazy.
